Sombrero de ala ancha

Nice hat, runs small
Nice hat for sunny days but it runs small. I own three hats from Sunday Afternoons. All are medium and fit like a glove. This hat is a medium and fits like a small. Luckily my son likes it and will add it to his collection. The hat is well constructed and had it fit, it would have been a tough choice between the Bahama and Charter hats from Sunday Afternoons. The only downside to the hat was the packing from Amazon. It was crammed into a brown shipping envelope. Didn't expect a proper hat box but the envelope gets bent as well as crushed. Hat was in bad shape when I got it but with a little work, it started looking normal. It's not something you can take straight from the package and enjoy. Amazon should do better.

Crushable, Cool, wide brimmed, and remarkably Tough
I wanted to take my Panama hat on a trip overseas. It is not packable or crushable and the Panama hats made of straw that are packable tend to be pricier than I wanted to pay. After much searching I found this one on Amazon and decided to give it a whirl. As some reviewers noted it came out of the package looking . . . well, crushed. Yet, after letting it breathe, using another hat to block it (stretch it to shape) and, ultimately, wearing it it did great under the literally pounding sun of Athens, Greece and a small Greek island. It has a slight ring of sweat stain around the bottom of the hat band but you have to really look to see it. I walked with it in today and it remains comfortable and I like the slightly broader brim for sun protection. It has been a wise choice for me and I am a bit of a hat snob.

Wrinkles do level out in humid environment
Elegant , adjustable, airy and the creases do come off after unpacking from a crammed luggage- under enough humidity

Doesn't seem to be that hat that was advertised.
This hat came flat as a pancake in a plastic envelope. I has somewhat refound its shape but will never look like the advertised version. It is very thin and extremely flimsy. I never write reviews for anything but for this I felt that I should speak up. All in all a poor excuse for a hat.

Comfortable hat, wish it was shipped better.
Hat is very comfortable and fits great. Only down side is the way it is shipped. It deforms the hat when its squished in a package and I still have not got it to take the proper shape yet.

Comfortable, holds its shape
I bought this hat after seeing someone else with another one of the same brand. Like other reviewers, it was delivered in a disconcertingly flat package. However, it popped back into shape no problem. Light, comfortable, stays on well. It has a tighter weave than other similar style hats, so actually provides sun protection. Looks good on men and women (and big enough to hide my ponytail/bun inside it). Have had it nine months and worn it weekly in a very sunny climate. Seems very durable.

Did the job perfectly!
Was a little worried as the hat came out of the box with some dents but they smoothed right out. Very comfortable to wear even in the heat and one of the most comfortable hats I've worn

Sun protection and good looks
Hat fits well according to general hat sizes. The slight adjustment that can be done inside on the band works well. Looks good and is quite comfortable even on very hot days.
