Great sunblock, just wish it wasn't tinted

First, I must state that I love Sun Bum products. It's the only sunscreen I've used in 38 years where I haven't burned at all. Previous to the 50-face stick order, I used the 30-face stick. That was wonderful, so I thought the 50-face stick would be even better. That wasn't necessarily the case, but continue reading, as your needs may be different than mine. The 50-face stick is tinted, as advertised. I am very pale, and it made me look like I was wearing a bad concealer all over my face. I jokingly refer to using this product as giving me "Trump-face" except without the super orange tinge. Next, the 50-face stick is much thicker than the 30-face stick (which is untinted, it applies to be a bit on the white side, but not a thick white). This is good or bad, depending on what you need it for. Having worn it in the ocean for hours, the thickness is awesome because my face didn't burn (or color at all): a huge win, as I typically burn no matter what product I use or how many times I reapply it. I recommend wearing this when you want longevity without reapplication, or you're wearing it in the ocean. Third, let's talk cleanup. Because the 50-face stick is so thick and it lasts on your face for hours, cleaning it off of you at the end of the day is a process. I used an old washcloth full of soap suds to scrub the life out of my face. Note, it will stain a white wash cloth, but laundry detergent and bleach help return the wash cloth to a dingy white color. The benefit I found after scrubbing the daylights out of my face was the beautiful softness of my skin afterward. I am prone to breaking out and my face not only did not break out, but it felt so nice and hydrated and silky soft, even after scrubbing. So also a plus. Another use for the 50-face stick could be for Halloween or theatre makeup. It is a great thick, nude (Caucasian) concealer that is durable, stays on for a long time, even in the heat (think theatre lights) and can be used for prolonged time without breaking out your skin. I am waiting for Sun Bum to come out with 50-face stick, untinted. That would undoubtedly get 5 stars from me. The tint just really turned me off. For now, I will return to 30-face stick. I would wear that just about every day!

Ridiculously small for the price.

Okay. I am pretty sure I didn’t order tinted, but that is what I received. I don’t wear foundation, so this wasn’t my favorite, but I needed it and will be more careful in ordering in the future if it was my inattentive ordering that sent me the tinted rather than the clear I thought that I ordered. It isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, just so that you know. It is RIDICULOUSLY small and per the price, that is not a great value in my opinion. I can only use straight Zinc, so my options are limited. I work outside at a pool every day in Florida and so sunscreen is a must. Will look for different options in the meantime with zinc and size/cost. It works, don’t get me wrong, but for what I paid, it should be bigger than this.

Amazing

LOVE this stuff. I didn't want it to look like I wore makeup to the beach (because....come on) but also didn't love how pasty white sunscreen made me look. This was the perfect tone, blended in well (at the beginning of the trip when I was pale as well as the end when I was tan) and provided really good protection. Wore it everyday surfing in costa rica and never got burnt. I also am very sensitive to sunscreen and often get burning around my eyes but had no issues with this.

Stays on and really works

Best sunscreen for those who need it most. My son is super fair and lives in the water and on the beach (or soccer/lax fields) and burns constantly. While we refer to this sunscreen as "Donald Trump" because it does have a very orange tint, IT WORKS. The only stuff that prevents my kid from burning and it''s still on after hours of surfing.

Most magical face sunscreen... For real.

I bought this while day drinking on the beach while complaining I didn't have sunscreen for my face. Literally don't even remember buying it. When it arrived I was excited because like I said...I needed face sunscreen. Magically it was tinted to my correct skin tone, and when you apply it, it just gives you the most natural and even toned skin...plus the benefit of sunscreen. I even took it a step further one time and set it with a translucent powder...it wore beautifully like a light-medium coverage foundation. Highly reccomend. Since I live on the beach in sunny Florida I will repurchase for sure...this time, sober.

Really Wish this wasn't so Orange

I LOVE sunblocks with a hint of a tint, but this product has more than just a hint. This tint is VERY orange. I'm fair skinned so this tint is way too "tan" for me that it looks really weird. I really wish that the tint wasn't so strong. However the sun block feature is AMAZING! And it doesn't sweat off! So can I handle a little orange tint while bike riding? YES!
