Great buy! Worth every penny!

Love love love love these shoes! We have had 7 pairs now of these and they last! We only buy my son 2 pairs of shoes one regular and 1 snow boot. With this shoe you don't need extras. My son is hard on shoes and very picky. These are perfect fit, color, and size. Love that stride rite offers these in wide and extra wide so we get the perfect fit every time. I also love that they are not tie shoes. And don't look horrible like some other Velcro shoes. My 4 year old can get them on and off with ease by himself. We had a pair for a whole year and they still have lots of life left in them. Best toddler/kid shoes on the market.

Too stiff, Velcro not long enough

These shoes are very stiff and a bit difficult to get on. The tongue is designed to sit underneath the sides, which doesn’t allow very much room for my son’s ankle. When I loosen the Velcro and tongue to fit properly, the Velcro section is not long enough to stay closed. This also leaves over an inch of Velcro exposed to collect hair, carpet fibers, etc... When I received this product it was clearly already returned because it had long blonde hairs on the Velcro of both shoes. So it seems like I’m probably not the only one who returned this shoe for that reason.

Pretty good shoe for my 13 month son

Pretty good shoe for my 13 month son. The sole is flexible and should allow him to feel that surface beneath his feet. It took some time for him to become used to the shoes when we switched him from the more stiff really walker shoes.

Good shoes

We bought these when they were a little bit too large for my son, and now he's almost outgrown them, and they don't really have any wear or damage to them, which is awesome. They're sturdy, seem to be comfortable, and they're easy to put on: just pull the tongue up enough that it opens the middle up a bit, and you can slide even a fidgety toddler's foot right in there.

Great shoe. The regular shoes normally fit our boys, but these are narrow, and I'd recommend getting wide if you bought other striderite shoes. Overall, great shoe.

Mom Approved!

Stride Rite never disappoints me or my little one! I bought these shoes for Fall/Winter and I think they were a perfect pick! They have a very grippy sole, they're all leather, and water resistant. My son spilt a whole cup of juice on them and I was surprised to see that his feet were completely dry! So these shoes are definitely Mom approved!

We love Stride Rite. These shoes held up well except the velcro stopped working after a couple of months.

I love the look of these shoes, but they were too narrow for my 1.5 year old boy.
