It says constructed of metal. Not entirely true. Mostly plastic. Beware

I should have read all the reviews more closely because other reviews are saying that this unit is made of plastic with a chrome finish. It is true that the brass ball joint is all metal but the rest of the unit (the moveable parts that usually break when made of plastic) are made of plastic with a chrome finish. It looks like metal but is not. The whole reason I bought this is to replace my plastic one that keeps breaking with a metal one that will be more sturdy. Very untruthful advertising. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN ALL METAL CONSTRUCTION.

Not all metal

It's metal and plastic, like the $9 models. The hook that holds the showerhead, and which is the most likely component to break, is plastic. Nothing there to justify the 50% price premium.

Third one that has broken

In five years since I installed a Danze hand sprayer, three wall mount brackets have broken. I spent a total of almost $50 replacing a PLASTIC part that should be METAL. When I contacted Danze customer service and sent them one of the broken brackets, I got no response for over a month. When I contacted them a second time, I got a complete run around with them sending me non-relevant forms to complete.

The correct part, only flaw is that without water running arm mount and shower head droops. Water running you can move shower head in arm mount without a problem.

I have gone thru at lease four hand held shower sprayer hoses because most are made of plastic and they crack easily unless you pay alot for them. I ordered this on Amazon. It's all metal and it was reasonable.

you can"nt ask for a better product!

while did I waite so long before choosing a much better product! I would never recommend any one to purchase any other brands from lowes ,home deport or hardware store.
