The perfect addition to a circuit tracing tool.

With the need to trace several circuits in our home and with the breaker box never mapped, I bought a Klein circuit tracing tool. It did the job very well for outlets, but I also needed to trace some switches and overhead light fixtures. This small set of tools is exactly what I need and works perfectly with the Klein tool. The price is reasonable and each of the pieces are sturdy and completes my kit for circuit tracing. The alligator clips are not lightweight, but very sturdy. This is a great set.

Adds extra value to Klein Tools ET300 Circuit Breaker Finder

This is a helpful adjunct to the circuit breaker finder when you're wanting to change a light switch. Connect the clips to the wires on the switch, check the box, and know exactly which breaker to turn off to disengage the circuit controlling that switch. Has come in handy a few times already while I was replacing standard switches with dimmers or timers.

A must for any breaker finder.

This is a much-needed upgrade for any breaker finder. The added versatility of having these adapters makes the tool substantially more valuable to me. The alligator clips are strong, and everything feels well constructed. The only thing I would change would be to add a ground to the light socket receptacle. Unfortunately, it seems that would violate UL listing standards, so I thought it would be unreasonable to deduct a star over this issue. However I did pick up a grounded adaptor for like a dollar at the Home Depot (picture attached). This is a slight nuisance, but I don’t fault the manufacturer for it. All in all, this simple fix makes identifying circuits a lot easier.

Its missing the three prong outlet adapter for the light adapter.

The light bulb adapter has only two slots. All testers (GFCI and circuit tracers) come with THREE prong plug end - namely the GROUND, There are two slots in the provided light socket adapter (no ground prong) and my circuit tracer has the usual three prongs. Renders the light adapter useless.

Item Works Great!

Had to leave this review here, since i am not able to write the review for the original item intended, which is the Southwire Tools & Equipment 41210S Circuit Breaker Finder Kit with GFCI. I was kind of hesitant to pick this item up because of the lack of reviews; however, the device actually worked. Tested on an outlet that was about 20 meters away and it was able to detect a proper signal between the transmitter and receiver. I also tested out the accessory kit with a light bulb socket and it located the proper circuit breaker.

The light bulb adapter is okay in and of itself, it works except it has only two slots in the exposed head. Over 95% of all testers (GFCI and circuit testers) come with THREE male parts - namely the GROUND PLUG, There are two slots in the provided adapter and my circuit test has the usual three. Useless.

Missing a light socket. In pictures clearly shows wires and light socket. Need replacement or find another brand.

Perfect for determining which breaker belongs to which circuit

Perfect for determining which breaker belongs to which circuit. Intuitive use, and function. Accurate every time. The only part I don't understand is why they don't include the "accessory kit" as a set with the tester. You need this accessory kit to test for lighting or motor based circuits.
