LIKE A CARRY ON BAG

IF YOU NEED TO GO ON A TRIP OR USE IT LOCALLY YOU CAN TAKE ALL YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND EVEN A LITTLE LIGHT CLOTHING OR SNACK, I RECOMMEND IT. THE POCKETS ARE QUITE LARGE AND SPACIOUS. MY HUSBAND LOVES IT. SI NECESITAS IRTE DE VIAJE O ESTAR VARIAS HORA FUERA DE TU HOGAR TE LO RECOMIENDO, PUEDES LLEVARTE TODOS TUS EQIPOS ELECTRONICOS Y HASTA UN POCO DE ROPA LIGERA O MERIENDAS. SUS BOLSILLOS SON BASTANTE AMPLIOS Y ESPACIOSOS. A MI ESPOSO LE ENCANTA.

Nice loading, holds 17" laptop, reasonable amount of gear and nice pocket features with cool orange interior!

Overall this is a nice backpack, I compare it to my SwissGear type one and here are my pros and cons which is a nice way to review it: Pros: I really like the orange interior, it does help you find things and looks cool too. The other backpacks had black interiors and the orange seems like it lights up the inside of the bag! The biggest 'like' is the top loading laptop slot, that seems way more safe and secure than the side loading one I had and I did have cases on my previous backpack where the zippers opened and the whole thing opened up and risked falling out. Not an issue with this and it feels more secure putting it in from the top and seems to have good amount of space. i fit in my 17" laptop, plus a leather notebook binder into that slot without issues. Similarly the top loading main pocket is nice you can pack things in there where that is more difficult on a front loading type backpack. I can pack a lot of clothes in there, thought not as much as overstuffing the SwissGear one, but it works for multi-day trips, at least for me and I travel very light. I like the front pocket at top it is great for my mouse and power cables and holds it securely for easy access. The very front slot pocket is perfect for glasses case and sunglasses. The straps are way thicker than the SwissGear, I consider that as a plus to cushion my shoulders cuz after years of travel with the SwissGear pack, you can tell the comfort level is much better with these, a lot softer on the shoulders. Cons: The main potential 'con' is the zippers don't seem very beefy compared to the SwissGear backpack I had, it's possible those could break or fail but at this point, they are OK. I guess just have to be more careful with them but definitely they don't appear as durable as the SwissGear backpack. The only other one is that this pack is not quite as large as I might light, but I kind of adapted to it. The nice pockets for cables, mouse, glasses and top loading slots really offset that. Those are really cool features I will look for in future backpacks! Overall, I like it. If it had better quality zippers I would give it five stars! Hope this is useful!

Handsome and Functional Backpack...

APPEARANCE This is a handsome backpack. It has nice clean lines. Has no extraneous parts or external compartments. It is very professional looking. Wears very well with a sport coat and casual slacks. The material and construction make this backpack look it it costs more than it does from Amazon. As a matter of fact, I could not find one that looks this good and makes me comfortable about placing an expensive laptop into and lugging it around the campus where I work. QUALITY The material is nice and sturdy. The stitching is neat--both inside and out--no fraying, etc. The stitches are doubled and the shoulder straps incorporate reinforcing design where most backpacks fail from heavy loads (near the bottom corners). FUNCTIONALITY Fits my 17.3 inch Toshiba Qosmio (7.6 lbs) with just the perfect amount of space left over for the Qosmio's unusually large power brick (1.9 lbs). There is enough room in the second large compartment for an iPad, a padfolio/portfolio, and my Bose headphones. Front and back padding give me peace of mind that my laptop is well-protected topside and underside. However, I am cautious when setting my full backpack down. I wish the bottom of the backpack was of a sturdier construction or had additional padding (maybe double what it currently has). The Qosmio-power-brick combination is a heavy beast. All of this make for a heavy backpack. But, even when full, my backpack looks just like it does as pictured here in this listing. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT As mentioned above, the bottom could use more padding or a combination of a molded bottom PLUS the current level of padding to better protect heavy laptops like the Toshiba Qosmio. The handle strap at the top of the backpack should be replaced with a molded handle or, at minimum, something that is sturdier. All in all, this is a nice backpack and, considering what's available in this price range, it was a nice buy. **Minor grammar and spelling edits 2015-04-20**

Not happy with quality

I take pleasure in good quality backpack because my laptop is a heavy type executive one. Sorry the quality of this bag is no up to standard. Returning same day , I received it. I care so much about quality, this is not the type of bag I love to carry. Wish they can improve on the quality in the future.

Buena mochila

Esta bien por el precio, aunque tampoco creo que sea la mejor mochila. Para traer una lap de 17 pulgadas es apenas ideal. Necesita tener mas protección, pero igual si no tienes el dinero para una mejor esta sin duda hara bien su trabajo. Los cierres son bueno y el interior naranja te deja ver con claridad el interior sin problema.
