These are the most amazing drill bits I’ve ever purchased
Wow. They make drilling so easy. The bit is pulled into the wood and you don’t need to exert much force at all once it gets going. Amazing. Would prefer a case over a blister pack, but I’m cheap.

Strong and sharp
After drilling hard wood under pressure this item felt as sharp as it was before I used it. Deffinitely worth what it cost!

Best bits to drill through wood
Bought these to run wire and PEX through studs and floor on remodel. They cut so much better than a spade bit. If you get an extension be sure to buy an impact rated on from a name brand company as some of the cheap made in china ones cannot handle the stress

Good aggressive bits for soft clear lumber, but mighty tough on the wrist otherwize.
These are a good bet for clear pine and cedar, but they are aggressive enough that a small knot can torque both wrists.

Excellent, but
When I hit a nail and kept on drilling. I ruined it...my fault. I ordered another

They are fast!
I have had the longer bits for awhile now and they are great for boring quick holes easily. The screw at the tip bites into the wood immediately and then it does most of the work by pulling the bit into the wood. So the you only really apply pressure at the end when the tip pierces the other side and can no longer pull. I'm careful not to hit nails and they long a very long time.

Work really well
I used them for drilling holes through old joists in an 1893 house. They were really convenient to use in the close space. The lead screw lets them feed with little effort.

They're pretty solid for electrical
Im an electrician, and these help for getting in those hard to reach places where your drill just won't fit with a 6'' or 8'' bit. I use my normal 1/2'' drill with these for the majority of the holes I drill and keep my hole hawg with a bigger bit handy for the bigger stuff. But these will handle about 90% of I do. I've had them for about a month or so and they seem to be holding up.

work well, but only use in some drills
Overall these work well. However you won't want to use this in a drill with a quick release chuck. Reason being if you are going through say an I beam floor joist if sealed on one side by drywall or something, you might lose the bit. They don't cut the hole completely, but instead at the end of the cut rip through the wood but leave about 1/4 of the wood left blocking the hole. Usually with a longer bit you could ream this out and have a clean hole, however with these it's a bit of a pain to do so because they are so short. If you have a quick release chuck, because these leave that last pie-slice shaped piece of wood in the hole, when you pull the bit back the drill I had had a tendency to release the bit for some reason and it would fall out of the chuck on the other side of the beam. Id recommend a bit longer bit if going through wood. These are good for drywall though.

These are only four inches long!
I've been using Irwin speedbor bits for many years and I've never seen a 4in bit. Some of my 6-inch ones were getting dull and I thought it would be nice to replace the whole set. I ordered the set and laughed my head off when I received them, they look stunted! Having thought it through I don't think they will be bad because most holes are less than 6 in deep, and if I need a deeper bore I can just put an extension on. The price was right, I just wanted you to be aware of what you're getting.

Useless, even for drilling in soft Spruce !
Very solid build it looks like, but useless for drilling holes even in Spruce, or plywood. It was like they were never sharpened from the manufacturer. My regular titanium coated HSS drill bits put these to shame. I worked had to get them to even cut 1/4 inch deep. If I need bigger holes my Silver and Deming set will work much better than these. Stay away, save your money, these were a big disappointment.

Buen desempeño, gran filo.
Al usarlo, con madera de tzalam (que es dura), se "esfumó" la mitad de la punta guía. No sé si fué defecto o de verdad era una madera muy dura.

These bits almost drill a hole by themselves
The lead screw on these bits feed them into the substrate like butter. One of the first holes I was drilling I hit a nail. Backed the bit out of the hole thinking it would be reined, but it continued to drill like it did when new. I would recommend these to any handyman or professional. Great value!!
