Effortless Smart Lighting Experience with Outstanding Functionality
I recently purchased the Sengled Smart Bulb, and I am beyond impressed with its simplicity and performance. It's the perfect smart lighting solution for those who want a hassle-free experience with incredible functionality. I give it a well-deserved five-star rating! Setting up the Sengled Smart Bulb was a breeze. The plug-n-play setup took mere seconds - all I had to do was twist in the smart light bulb, and it automatically linked to my Alexa account. The "Certified for Humans" label truly lives up to its promise, ensuring a struggle-free, tinker-free, and stress-free experience with smart lighting control. Remote control via the Alexa App is another fantastic feature. I can turn the smart bulb on/off, dim, brighten, set routines, and schedules with ease. The soft white LED provides 60W equivalent lighting with a best-in-class CRI 90 rating, making it perfect for dining rooms, bedrooms, or any space where warm light is desired. Voice control with Alexa has been a game-changer for me. I can use hands-free commands to control the bulb's on/off state and adjust its brightness. Advanced features like wake-up routines and away mode can also be accessed through voice commands via Echo devices. Love the Alexa-enabled capability
This is my second purchase of this brand of bulb. The first is a multicolor that I have in a lamp in the living room. I bought this one for my bedroom ceiling fan light so I can tell Alexa to turn off just the light without having to get up to pull the string. I was surprised to find out that it can be used as a dimmer and have a routine set for the bedroom light to come on at the same time as my alarm and gradually get brighter (ramp up) until it's full brightness 10minutes later, in case I turn off the alarm and fall back asleep.

Bugs if you have an older Echo.
I got one of these for a friend, and it was working great for a week, so I thought I'd pick up a few more. At my house, it set up easily at first, but then it stopped working. I traced part of the problem to the fact that it seems to be pairing with only a single one of my amazon echos -- my Echo Show 1st gen. Unfortunately, this Echo Show is flakey and goes down every now and again. When it goes down, this led light bulb stops working. Even though I have several other echos that are supposed to be able to talk to the light bulb, they won't. That's not all of the trouble though. When the Echo Show 1st gen comes back on, it doesn't seem to re-connect to the light bulb right away. Perhaps it would eventually, but it doesn't reconnect in a couple of minutes. Maybe it won't ever. This would seem to be a problem not just for flakey Echos, but also for power outages. Another issue is that the light bulb refuses to pair with any other Echo besides my Echo Show 1st gen -- even if I reset the light bulb. If the Echo Show 1st gen is unplugged, the light bulb can't be discovered by Alexa. After connecting the light bulb and then turning off my Echo Show 1st gen, Alexa also seems to temporarily forget the name of the light. It's still in my list of lights on the Alexa App, but I can no longer ask Alexa to turn it on or off by name. This seems to fix itself in a little while. And of course the light won't turn on or off from the app when I've turned off that one Echo Show 1st gen that it seems to rely on. So I initially decided that this light bulb should be avoided right now -- but further experimentation changed my mind. (Amazon support was useless. I had to figure this all out on my own.) Edit: I finally did manage to get a different echo to connect to the bulb via bluetooth. What seemed to do it is (1) unplug the echo you don't want it to be connected to. (2) reset the bulb by flicking it on and off five times, at which point it blinks three times to verify the reset. (3) unplugging the echo that you want it to connect to, and then plugging it back in to reset that echo. This seems to make it forget that some other echo was connected to the bulb. (4) asking that echo to "find my devices". (5) plugging the echo that the bulb was originally connected to back in. Additional Edit: after making sure the light bulb was paired via bluetooth to a newer Echo Show 5 instead of my old Echo Show 1st gen, the LED light now works well. If the power goes out to the Echo Show 5, the light bulb stops working while it's rebooting but then starts working again as soon as the Echo Show 5 is working again. So there won't be a problem with power outages like when it was paired with the Echo Show 1st gen. I believe the reason many people are having problems with these bulbs is that they have older Echo devices and the bulb doesn't work well if it becomes paired with an older Echo. So when you first set one of these bulbs up, I recommend you temporarily turn off all your oldest Echo devices so that when you discover the bulb it doesn't pair with one of them. This is the only way I know to have control over which Echo it pairs with. If you want to know which Echo it actually did pair with, try unplugging an Echo. If it's the one the bulb is paired with, the bulb will no longer be controllable from any Echo or the Alexa App, until you turn that Echo back on. Although turning the Echo back on may not restore operation. As I said, it does restore operation when paired with my Echo Show 5, but it does not restore operation when paired with my Echo Show 1st gen. I'm raising the review to 3 stars, since it appears now that it can be made to work reliably if you own a newer Echo device and turn older Echo devices off during pairing. I'd give it 5 stars if they actually had instructions and warnings guiding people through these perils. I appreciate that this light bulb doesn't come with a privacy policy. Many of the other bulbs do, since they can only be set up from an App with a EULA and privacy policy and connections to who-knows-where on the internet.

Some grate light that work with alexa :)
It's good lights but sometimes it can disconnected and it won't work with alexa. and sometimes if you have the lights around your house other alexa can control it. It's a problem for me but I fix it. It's work really good and even works just like it says it works. Really good 8/10

Excellent little light I'm buying another for sure m.. I just put the lightbulb in and it blinked twice and stayed on, then I just asked my Alexa to find my device and it did and opens up my Alexa app on my phone and there it was.. you don't need to be some kinda egghead to use these .. it is kinda yellow the light m, I guess they would call that soft white.. Yiu can tell your Alexa to find it to whatever percentage you want like in a S T show or something..

Works great and simple set up!
If you can’t get your alexa, or other smart home base, to detect the lightbulb, simply turn it off/on 5 times quickly. the bulb will start to flash, and after that setup and integration is a breeze. additionally, i wanted to use these on a ceiling fan that only operates using pull chains. when searching the manufactures site for bulb reset information i got worried these wouldn’t work for the purpose i intended since on their site it clearly stated “will not work with ceiling fan lights.” i decided to give it a try anyway, and it works with no issues. i bought 2 of these for 5 dollars and the value for price is amazing! i wish i would’ve found these sooner as i would’ve bought multiple of these instead of smart light switches. i’ll definitely be buying more of these in the future and giving them as gifts!

i got some other 'smart' bulb and plug before, i was able to connect to those, but after a while things went south because they were connected via an app and then there's another 'home' app to talk to the app. This time is different because I think Alexa talks directly to the Sengled light. Setup was easy, and I don't have to worry about if app is up-to-date or I lost the login. This time the whole thing is simple and work.

I’ve bought the Sengled LED bulbs twice - once a multi-coloured LED bulb, and then this two-pack of white bulbs. They’re are dimmable and were easy to connect to my home network through the Alexa app.

Umm, Sure if its free
Well, I got this for free with another item, so I don't mind it at all, but if I would have bought it, I might have got something better. Firstly its not as bright as the rest of the lights in my house, so it kinda odds out. Then, I moved my echo plus away from the room where the bulb was placed and tried to control it with the rest of the devices, it just stopped working. I couldn't figure out why, but turned out that it needs the primary device within Bluetooth range to function. But isn't the function of smart device is to control it from anywhere given you have internet connection. I was kinda thrown, so I had to bring my device back into the room just to control this device.
