Chips easily, mixed materials, but redeemable

It is not made of wood, it is made to look like wood, which would be fine, but started chipping right away. I thought about returning it, but had some online training I needed something to fidget with while I took it… so I painted this. I think it looks super cute. The chips are hidden, now I just need to find something to put in it. If you aren’t up for a project, find a different frame. If you are, this is a decent base, but you can probably find something of the same price but better quality.
