Worked like a charm.

Purchases this to swap out the ignitor in my Samsung gas oven because it was cycling during the preheat stage and took upwards of 20 minutes to preheat to 350. It was very easy to swap after finding a video online on what needed to be removed. It took my wife and I longer to clean everything we took out than every other step of the process combined. Afterwards the oven stopped cycling and took just over 6 minutes to preheat to 350. I can't vouch for longevity as it has been installed for only 2 weeks now. Hoping it gets me another two years out of the oven at least.

OEM vs copycat

I am writing this review to confirm the quality and comparison that this part is the original OEM replacement. I had initially doubted that the part was OEM as the Technical Specification Sheet for the part shows the manufacturer as Samsung, but the replacement part is clearly made, per the label, by a company called Coorstek. It was only after I removed the original part from my Samsung oven that I saw the part is manufactured by Coorstek. It functions perfectly and for my peace of mind, I am pleased to pay the extra money for the OEM part instead of an off brand replacement.

Quick and correct

I bought a pre-owned Samsung Oven range and the igniter went out. I ordered this version because the youtube pros suggested always to go with the OEM, and not aftermarket. A bit pricey, but it came in the next day, installed easily with the youtube pros help, and it worked perfectly. Definitely not for DIY'ers and more for maintenance guys who know what they are doing.

You can't beat OEM - at least so far

Our last igniter replacement was a universal sort, which gradually faded in its performance. The igniter failed just enough to call into question other problems, not the igniter. Our oven would intermittently delay to light and would do so with a loud whoosh, accompanied by the smell of gas. Also eventually the oven could not maintain a consistent baking temperature, it would instead drop, but the LED readout was correct. Since installing the new Samsung OEM igniter, our oven is finally performing normally, it's been 10 days with average use.

Only lasted 6 months

We bought a new Samsung gas oven/stove in 2017. Five years later, the oven igniter went out. Replaced it in Jun 2022 with Samsung branded part for that model. It lasted 6 months and went out again. Another quality product manufactured in China. The appliance repairman says he gets more calls on Samsung ovens than any other appliance that he services...and it is typically the oven igniter. We will never buy another Samsung product again, and caution other against it as well.

Fair price and easy to install

I replaced the burned out igniter in my oven in about 45 minutes. It was easy enough to do but there are several screws and panels that have to be removed. I did not purchase the cheapest available but did not buy the much more expensive part from Samsung.
