A little snug in the front half of the shoe for wide feet like mine

I contacted them about a possible wide model, or maybe up-sizing to get more room but since my foot is so wide they are too tight on the widest part of my foot. They are serious shoes for what they are made to do and the stretch collar around the upper ankles should prevent any debris or sand from getting inside the shoe even in rugged terrain. I really hope I can get a wide version of this shoe!

Performed better than expected!

These Salomons were a gift to my son. He stated that they are a true fit and require little use to break in. My son wore these during a 15k Tough Mudder which included full submergence in mud and water in addition to 20 obstacles. My son stands approximately 6’ at 240lbs and they worked great for him.

More narrow than expected. Order a size up.

Amazing shoes. Extremely well made and lightweight. Sort of narrow. Other shoes if this brand I wear 11. But these are a tad more narrow than my previous shoes of this brand. I purchased a 12 (since 11 simply would not fit), and these are perfect.

Not true to size

They were a women’s 5, but were not true to size , very big, more a 6/6.5 and Bc they were huge they tore my feet up and gave me bad ankle pain

One of the best fitting Salomon shoes on the market!

Excellent shoe that get multiuser from walking,, running,, and mountain biking. One of the most comfortable Salomons shoes I've ever purchased. Salomon Cross shoes feel custom designed to my feet although heel support seem to be lacking with not only this shoe but all Salomon shoes. I purchase Dr Scholls insoles that tremendously help support the constant strike to the heel area while walking and running.

Great portaging shoe

We purchased these for canoe trips, rather than the extreme sports they were intended for. They are great - you can get your feet wet, they dry quickly, and provide grippy footing in deep mud. We found they fit true to size, if a little snug but I think that is by design. They've saved us a bunch of time on canoe trips because we no longer need to change into and out of portaging shoes at the portages.
