Great day bag/get home bag....

I don't typically write reviews, but this is a product I have absolutely put to the test.... I bought this bag 4 years ago (blue was offered then but i don't see it now) and I carry it everyday, everywhere I go....it's a perfect size for a day trip, and excellent for a tactical bag....a little small for a bug out build, but awesome to equip as a get home bag....the various compartments are well thought out in size and placement....depending on what I'm carrying, my bag typically weights 15 - 20 lbs....I snactch it up by the handle on top getting in and out of the truck....I usually carry it with one shoulder strap like a sling bag, but throw the other shoulder on when I need confidence that it's secure....the padded back is also a nice feature and provides great comfort.... I can't say enough about the quality of this bag....SOG makes great products at reasonable prices.... Again, I've carried this bag like most people wear shoes for 4 YEARS....that alone should say something about it's durability....

Great backpack...minor manufacturer defect

I love the backpack but one of the metal rings (drain holes) on the bottom of the backpack was broken and fell off as soon as I pulled it out of the box...

Decent day pack

I really love the style of this backpack. I had a bunch of Velcro patches that I slapped on the front and I think it looks super cool. The only negative I can think of is that the bottom has a few grommet holes that made me nervous anything in the backpack would get wet so I ended up buying a waterproof bag to put inside the backpack in case I put the pack down in water. I took it for a two day trip and I had wished it was a little larger for a two day trip but I think for a quick overnight go bag it’s perfect for me.

The one to buy!

I looked for a small tactical pack for a long time and researched them all before purchasing the SOG Daypack. I love the color and the size is perfect for my needs. I didn't want anything bulky. The zippers are strong and beefy. Very durable pack.

Favorite travel sized backpack

I know it’s not necessarily travel sized but I use it for quick trips and the gym. I love it so much especially since it fits in while I’m at drill for the army???? 1SG can’t yell at me anymore

Very Nice!!

Great backpack for my camping trip! It's very spacey, and fits a lot of things. I love all the different compartments especially the padded one that I can put fragile objects into (like my phone or glasses). It's very durable and good quality, extremely light-weight. Overall, a great backpack! The only reason I put 4 stars is because these backpacks are VERY overpriced. Otherwise, I recommend.

Well put together, lots of pockets

This is a really great bag and its worth the price for sure. Perfect for some hiking or what ever. Not something for a week , but easily a day or so.

Huge, comfy, perfect bag

I love this back pack. It’s so much bigger than I expected and the pockets are great. I was going to get some extra pouches to strap on to the outside but there is no need, there’s so much room. I too had the hole on the side in the top sunglasses case but a) it’s doesnt bother me, nothing will go through it and if it did, it would go back into the bag and b) I happened to find this bag at a local Walmart (was more expensive there btw) and they all had a hole too. Might be intentional after all. I use this bag for work mostly - carry tools, computer, lunch, water bottles, coffee mugs and didn’t feel the weight, the straps are very comfy. I will 100% recommend this bag. I can’t wait to go hiking next summer and boarding this winter with it as well.
