Great product!

This product is awesome, totally transformed my kitchen for 200 bucks. This is the first project I have undertaken in our new home beyond painting walls which did not go smoothly. Each step is easy to use and high quality. I fully expected to see ugly brushstrokes through thick paint because that is what repainted cabinets always look like. However, this stuff sinks in and bonds with the wood, forming a hard, thin shell that shows off the natural grain and looks flawless with no brush strokes, even with my less than perfect painting technique. I have recommended this to everyone I know! The only thing I would have done differently is use a wood filler product and sanded a bit in areas where the previous varnish has stripped away and the wood was very rough. It was a little challenging getting paint down into the grooves of the wood grain, but that is my fault due to my lack of experience.

5 years later

I wanted a change from 90s oak so five years ago tried this kit out. I absolutely love it still. It’s starting to wear now so I am thinking about doing it again. We had planned on a total cabinet tear out but I still really like the espresso and my cabinet style. If you are on a Budget but want a new look, or you just don’t want to spend the exorbitant amount of money for new cabinets, I highly recommended this.
