Very sturdy

We had a Rubbermaid two-step stool that looked like this years ago and thought we were purchasing the same stool. This one was a pleasant surprise being much sturdier and heavier than the last one. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a convenient two-step stool that you can easily grab and use.

Nice sturdy step stool

I use this stool for sitting in the bathroom, while shaving and brushing my teeth at the sink. I’m rather obese and I’m comfortable sitting on this stool. A previous stool I had wasn’t as sturdy and eventually broke when I shifted my weight. It would also work well as a shower stool. I’m very pleased.

SOLID! STURDY!

Nice, solid step stool. Larger than it looks in the photos. Also, a bit heavier--but NOT heavy--which makes it reassuringly stable.

Good alternative to the Costco 2-Step Stool that is no longer available

Top step is about 1" lower than the discontinued Costco 2-Step Stool. Steps feel firm and the pattern molded into the top surfaces do provide a bit of "grip" that helps feet from slipping off when standing on the stool.

Very strong, secure step stool, suitable for heavier adult weights.

This stool is extremely strong and sturdy. I needed one to replace a more flimsy one, which had bent under the extra weight of my son. I could not obtain exactly what I needed in the UK, but found this one online and it was delivered from ‘across the pond’. I would say it was Canadian, but it was a US firm that delivered it to my home in Wales. I ought to have ordered two, as it was exactly what I needed, but I wanted to see the first one before deciding. Sadly, the company that delivered it to me has now increased the price to double what I paid last time. Had the price remained the same, I would have bought another. We could do with a distributor in the UK for this superior product, but it will never sell at this inflated price.

Wonderful, bulky, but holds heavy weights easily without breaking

I was trying to find the step stool that would be right for us. I'm short and heavy, so I really needed something that would hold a lot of weight and give a good amount of height, so I looked at a few different models. I have to say that this is almost perfect. The only downside is that because it's quite big, storage is a nightmare, but there isn't a lot of choice when you want a step stool that supports high weights. There are smaller, foldable stools that claim to support up to 300lbs, like this one, but I can tell you from experience that they will eventually break and it can be nerve-wracking if it happens while you're on it. Molded plastic is a workhorse, this isn't going to break or bend as the construction is sturdy. I will say that the lower step feels a little more unsteady and I prefer to just use the top step, but it's still very durable. I like that they have the little non-slip padding, which is very comfortable on the feet when standing on it. The handholds are a great addition for when lifting or moving it. I'm 5' 3" and when I'm on it I can reach the top of my wall-hung kitchen cabinets easily. I thought it would be smaller, so I'm pretty thrilled. If you're looking for a step-stool that doesn't take up a lot of room and you're relatively light, this might not be the best for you. In my opinion, though, it's the best available on the market for those with heavier weights. I have quite a small kitchen, but it's worth it for me. If you have an abundance of room or somewhere to store it, the size won't even be an issue, but it's definitely something to be aware of.

Good, sturdy stairs!

Seemed like a great sturdy set of plastic stairs. Bought them to use on the dock to step up onto my sailboat. I say 'seemed' nice since they must have looked so good that someone stole them of the dock within two days. I then built a set out of wood and secured it to the dock..lol. I am 6'4 amd 250 and they were nice and solid for me. Price was good too. If I needed another set, I would buy again no problem. Although not black, they were hot in the sun on bear feet.lol

Solid Construction

Stool is used around the house to get at hard to reach places in or on kitchen or closet shelves. Very useful. Would be nice if it came in white. Slightly larger than some other stools but that's because its constructed for 300 lb capacity. Non slip tread is a great feature as well. Overall its an excellent step stool.

Perfect.... Strong enough and STURDY. I placed this in my bedroom closet floor and just pulled it out when I wanted to get anything from the top shelf... It's so sturdy and stable I didn't feel fear of falling off. Larger than I expected which is a bonus too....Plus on top of this... I also as a treat for my dog I place this at the side of my bed so my Jack Russell can climb up it on week-ends and cuddle with me while we sleep in....Great purchase... For the price I would highly recommend....Hope this helps you decide...
