The Old Ones were ADORABLE
After a pot burned my old pair I was happy they were still being made. The new set works fine, BUT they no longer ha ve a Gourmet label and the size is larger…enough to not make them adorable anymore. Still do a good job!

Love them!!
I’ve been using this style for many years and still love them! They protect my hands very well; never been burned. Much less cumbersome than the mitts! I just toss them in the washer with my towels when they get soiled and done! Don’t hesitate to give these a try!

Easy to use
I love that these are so easy to use. The thumb slot is perfect. No awkwardness when you try to pick up a hot pan. On very hot pans you can feel some heat through them, but overall these are the best style of pot holders out there.

Great for all hands especially petite.
These oven mitts are used by both my husband (large hands) and myself (petite hands) and allow for a firm grasp on objects. There are two pockets on the mitt, one small for just your Thumb alone to fit inside and another pocket for your remaining fingers. This allows the mitt to not be dropped as easily or slip and slide while handling hot objects. This is our second set of mitts made in this manner with a thumb and would prefer this over other types. The mitts are of a cotton type fabric and may shrink when dried, however, still fit well. They are heavy enough that there are no hot spots with thin material and are also not excessively thick to prevent a firm hold on hot objects. Overall would recommend them and plan to use these as my favorite oven mitts as I do a lot of baking and need a reliable, comfortable and flexible mitt.

Love These
Bought these to replace similar pot holders that finally fell apart after 20+ years! I've been searching for replacements for at least 6 months and these are almost perfect. I would rate 5 stars if they were a little thicker.

Best potholder design
I've been using these for years. This is a second order. I machine wash them. Allows me to grab dishes out of oven without putting half the glove into the food. My hands are smaller than average and these aren't cumbersome like most and thick enough to not burn my hands. Need to use as designed for best function- thumb in smaller pocket..
