luxury quilt
At a price approaching what you'd expect to pay a local quilter for a custom made quilt, I wasn't sure if this would be worth the cost. I was pleasantly surprised, because this is a really nice quilt. Natural fiber quilts are very hard to buy these days - if you can find a cotton quilt, it likely has polyester batting inside. Not this one! The outer fabric is a very soft cotton/linen blend and the inner batting is cotton. Linen doesn't start out soft, you have to wash it a bunch first, and they did that for you so it is already soft. I machine washed it warm (even though it says cool, but I'm allergic to dust mites and bedding must be washed as warm as possible) and tumble dried it and it came out great. The tag says to use a commercial front loading washer and dryer, but I used my top loading HE washer (no agitator) and dryer and it was fine. It came out looking exactly like it did going in. While this is clearly intended to be used as a cover as it includes shams, this would also work well as a blanket layer. It is very hard to find blankets these days that aren't either polyester fleece or a loosely woven cotton that falls apart immediately. I will probably use it as a top layer in the summer and under a duvet in the winter. This is overall a really lovely quilt and I do think it is worth the price. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the size. This is marketed as a King/Cal King size, and no measurements are given at all. I have a Cal King bed, and as you can see in one of my pics the quilt doesn't fall very far over the sides. It is plenty long enough - if you like having extra at the top to cover the pillows there is plenty - but the width is lacking. I suspect that on a King bed (which is wider but shorter) it would be turned the other way, so there would be plenty of length over the sides, but on the Cal King bed it would be too short if turned the other way. YMMV on if this would bother you or not.

A little bit disappointing - thinner than expected, feels very nice, well made
I was a bit disappointed in the 3-piece quilt set when considering the listed price and description (lush & luxurious). The set is much thinner than I expected, but I have to admit the material feels amazing. The set washed and dried well, and the seams and stitching are well done on both the blanket and the shams. Overall, I like the product but I would not purchase it at the current price (over 145), as its value is not that high, in my opinion, especially considering how thin it is. It may be that I do not understand the cost of "Belgian flax linen," so I will still give the set 4 stars due to its comfort and quality.

Beautiful natural quilt
love this set! This quilt is a linen/cotton blend with cotton batting. This is hard to find because usually they use fake fibers like polyester as batting. The linen blend is pre washed so it’s super soft to the touch. This blanket is a medium weight. I could use it alone in the summer months or later it over my duvet in the winter. It looks beautiful on the bed. This is expensive for a quilt but natural fiber bedding like linen and cotton usually is- you get what you pay for. It’s worth a splurge if you have the budget for it. I find that it sleeps warm but breathable. I got queen size and the sizing works for a queen bed. I got the gray and it’s a true elephant gray. It looks a little beige in my photos because I have warm light bulbs in the room.

This quilt feels like a soft blanket!
I was curious to learn the construct Belgian flax material, so I researched how it's different from other cotton or linen (texture) comforters. What I learned was extraordinary, thus I have the insight to be objective in writing this product review. Here goes: The ivory color is nice, but falls a bit short on bringing my room to life or simply enhancing the aesthetic of my bedroom. It's soft, but I've slept on the softest quilt (texture) over the years that are less costly. Honestly, this quilt feels like a blanket to me- an average blanket.

This is amazing!
I’ve never felt anything quite like it… muslin cotton if I had to compare it to something. It’s extremely soft, and made very well. It’s not exactly lightweight, but it’s not too heavy either. It would be a great blanket to use year round. The edges have very durable stitching, it held up great in the washer and dryer. It showed no signs of wear and tear, and it didn’t shrink. This would make the perfect Christmas gift! I absolutely love this, it is no cozy that I don’t wanna get out of the bed! It arrived quickly and was packaged securely. I give it a 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend!
