Super hard to turn on or change light for little hands
We were so excited for my little one to open this for Christmas. And she absolutely LOVES it. However it’s so hard that she can’t change the light settings. She has to bring it to us to get it to change. Super disappointed by that. However she does love it and I love that after she leaves it on it does go off by itself. And she loves putting it on its home.

It’s cute but
I didn’t see anywhere on the package that it discloses it uses a button cell battery. Unless I just missed it. But that’s kind of my point, they don’t advertise it in big print on the front like a lot of toys do nowadays. I would have not bought this toy had I known.

Never lit fir my kid very disappointed. Because she really wanted it. Going to try and order another one.

Doesn’t stay lit long and hard to turn on
We had Gloworms when I was growing up. This has the same adorable character but is a hard plastic rather than soft exterior, and it’s considerably smaller (a few inches). The concept is you can either use it as a light up, carry around toy or as a “nightlight” by placing it into its little plant pod. I put nightlight in quotes because it only stays on for minutes so this is not something that will stay lit as a nightlight the whole evening. The toy works by pressing the worm’s belly. There are two modes: a bright light and a dimmer light. Either way, it only stays on for a short bit. It’s pretty hard to press to activate the light. My 5-year-old son can press it but the younger crowd (2 and under) aren’t able to do it on their own. They will carry it around and bring it over to be pressed. The worm’s light glows through the pod which has decorations on it, which is pretty to see. This is a cute concept but due to the difficulty turning on and the length of time that it stays on (to presumably preserve batteries), it isn’t as functional as I thought it would be. It would make an good gift for the three and up age range.

This was a gift for my daughter. It is very cute but the battery compartment is absolutely ridiculous, the springs fly off and it wouldn’t stay closed. I returned it and got a replacement and that was worse it was rusted and the screw was striped, I did email the manufacturer with pictures and proof but never got a response. I sent the replacement back as well and gave up.

Not a light
This is not a light. It is only painted with glow paint. There are no batteries for a night light and it will loose its glow quickly. I guess I did not read the fine print, but I was disappointed.

Was broken when arrived
Would not turn on and the screw to replace battery was stripped so could not even change battery. Broken from the start. Very disappointed
