Surprisingly Thick and Sturdy for Melamine & Nice Design

I was pleasantly surprised to see how thick this set is. Almost feels like china instead of melamine. I've put it through the dishwasher once. So far so good. I can't say how long it will last as I just got it ... but the design is tasteful, the colors are as pictured. So far so good.

Pottery feel with plastic durability

These could almost pass for pottery, but are extremely resistant to chipping. My only complaint is that they shouldn’t be microwaved.

Food slides off plates

I don’t know what it is about these plates, but you can’t try to cut anything on them. The food slides off. You can’t walk with them and have food on them because the food will slide right off onto the floor. I also don’t like that they are not dishwasher safe. Only top rack and the dinner plates are too large to fit on the top rack. Not a fan of these plates. They are pretty and sturdy, but that’s about it.

Nice thick plates

We wanted the look of Mexican talavera plates, but needed the durability of these plates. The only downside to this set is that you can't microwave it (they are melamine), but they are beautiful and sturdy plates. They make me happy at every meal.

Not for microwave

I like this for the colors and because it does have some weight to it. This is my second set and the first set still look new and I use these daily. One big drawback is they are not recommended for the microwave. I microwave anyway but they don't seem to work as well there.

Summer Dining

We get a lot of compliments on this set. Great summer lunch/dinner set for dining al fresco on the patio.

NOT MICROWAVABLE!

These dishes are beautiful but you CANNOT microwave these at all even for a minute. They get really hot and you can see by my picture they burn! Can’t believe I bought so many pieces and sets and you can’t microwave with them! SMH

Very nice set

We got this dinnerware set for safety vs breakable dishes and overall cost vs ongoing use of paper plates. Very pretty. Wish they also had matching appetizer plates.

Vajilla

Este producto lo compré pensando que como la propaganda dice Talavera y precio parecía adecuado para trabajo de Talavera fue mal informado pues no es Talavera más bien un material de resin con arte de trabajo copiado al de Talavera. Muy mal y decepciona pues está súper caro para la calidad del producto. Súper decepcionada. Sin ganas de comprar nunca por este proveedor.
