Neat design, not sharp

My husband had a stroke that left him with the use of only one hand. I continuously look for products that will help him function more independently with that one hand. This knife is designed for one-handed cutting. But you must use it properly, and it needs to be sharpened. A regular knife sharpener won't work because the blade is very, very thick. I am waiting for my son to use his grinder to sharpen the blade enough to be able to cut anything besides bread, waffles, and other soft foods. My husband actually prefers to use the side of his fork to cut since the blade isn't sharp. So I have mixed feelings about this product. Concept is great. The tip is for anchoring the knife, and then a rocking motion should cut the food. Again, it doesn't cut well since it isn't sharp.

Great spoon

As a person living with ALS this spoon helped me with being able to eat and not spill the food off of the utensil. The spoon handle is thicker so it's easier to hold and the spoon part can be bent at different angles to fit your needs.

Decent knife for the price.

This is great for my Dad, who has Parkinson's and can't use a regular knife well. The only down side is that it's not sharp, so tougher cuts off meat or thicker, harder foods do not easily cut with it. But it's working well for most things, and a reasonable price.

Great purchase

I just had total shoulder replacement and a friend suggested I buy this. I’m so glad I did. After my surgery the most demeaning thing I could think of was having someone cut up my food for me. If you have this tool you have no need to worry about that. It easily cuts through everything without throwing it across the room and without using a fork to hold. It cleans easily, I just run it through the dishwasher.

can bend to ANY angle and rebend

The nice, chunky handle and rubber grip is so helpful. The slight weight to it helps to stop the shaking. The angle makes it easy for her to get the food to her mouth. Eating made easy for someone who was really struggling!

High quality and bendable for my dad

My dad has a type of cancer that has destroyed his ability to use his hands. These spoons help him feed himself again once I bent them into the angle he needs.
