This vest is comfortable and lightweight. It fits loosely so you can wear a hoodie or even just a Tee under it and it will still be comfortable, it's versatile in sizing. It has a reflective material that reflects quite well when you shine light on it and it washes easily with no issues. It would work great in hot or cold weather, 4 stars.

Heavy duty visibility and utility

This is an awesome vest with a lot of pockets, many of which are closed with heavy-duty Velcro. This vest is sturdy with a lot of nice touches, such as a back ruler slot, wide front lower pockets with a dispenser grommet. While most of these touches are squarely aimed at surveyors, I’m actually using these vests for a different purpose. I’m putting them in our family vehicles, so if we need to stop at a wreck, change a tire beside the road in the dark, etc., we can put these vests on and know that we are more visible to passing traffic. I’m very happy with how heavy-duty this vest is, plus how incredibly glowing the fabric is, not to mention all the reflective tape. My only concern is that the heavy-duty zipper is plastic and not metal. Other than that, I’m very pleased with this vest. Let Amazon donate to your favorite charity! Very durable

This safety vest has all the bells and whistles. Lots of pockets - basically, if you need to carry it, this thing has a pocket for it. It's well made, and it's the most durable safety vest that we've come across. My husband often needs a vest for his job, and he's very happy with this one. The fit is good with none of that falling off the shoulders and sliding around like so many others. And the best thing is how reflective it is, which is perfect for after dark. It has wide refective stripes that are sure to show up when you need them. The zipper is plastic instead of metal, but so far has worked just fine. If you need a safety vest for whatever reason, this one is the way to go.

Good Quality

My husband is very happy with this new safety vest! He was thrilled to finally have a new one as he has kept the same for forever. He often has to visit large construction sites for his job, and is required to wear one when on-site. He really enjoys the fit of this vest, he is 6'1, 200 lbs, and finds this to be perfectly comfortable, even in this terrible summer heat. He said the pockets were also very handy to have and are proving to be useful. This is much better than the one he had before and he enthusiastically recommended it.

pioneer safety vest

This was a thick safety jacket, with a multitude of pockets, which made it versatile. The zipper worked well, without any issues. I found this to be a convenient safety vest for working outside. It felt comfortable to wear and was pretty visible.

Many pockets, very visible

This is the kind of vest I like--very visible (preferably with both blaze orange and lime-yellow) and with lots of shine. All the pockets are a bonus, as is the cooling mesh. It's very comfortable as well. MOST highly recommended!
