Looks great. Poor quality & bad shipping.

Looks & feels great but damages easily. After the first arrived damaged, I requested a replacement. The second was protruding from box, and hence scratched. For the money, while I like the design, I need to look elsewhere. :-(

Ugh - why didn't i read the other reviews

Same thing happened as another reviewer who included photos. Item arrived with paint chipped off revealing a poorly made product. Why would someone paint an item that's going to be scrapping the bottom of a concrete or brick fireplace???? Like, why, Why WHY? What did you think was going to happen to that paint??? And how cleaver of you to use something lighter toned below the cheapo paint so we could see your foolishness so clearly. Item does have a nice modern look, though. So if you're never going to use it, then maybe.

Weak welding on extruded steel support frame

This item arrived broken, one of the support arms was bent, causing the weld to break. This is not solid wrought iron, it is extruded steel.

Very nice Fireplace Tool set for the price

The set arrived intact - no chips or anything. The other reviews made me a bit nervous but nothing was wrong. I believe it came directly from the manufacturer? Anyway, this is a very nice set - the color is grey (iron) and is very sturdy. I like it a lot!
