Lighthearted and fun

I’ve recently been bringing this game as a warm up for my table top group. It keeps the table engaged, hysterics are common. The directions are straight forward, and this game is really light so it can be learned in 15 minutes easily. As for the gameplay itself, players need to play cards of a suit, or “spice”, face down while declaring its suit and number. The next player needs to play a card of the same suit that beats the previous card. The catch is you can lie and play anything. To score points, players can challenge the other players move. They can challenge either the number or the suit but not both. The challenger wins if the quality they challenged, suit or number, is incorrect. It is possible a player lied about the card they played but still won a challenged because the challenger called the wrong quality. For example, a player claims to play a “9 pepper” but plays a 5 pepper, the challenger says, “not pepper” the card is revealed and the challenger looses in this case because they challenged suit and the suit was correct. The winner of the challenge gets the played stack as points while the looser must draw cards, and the next player starts a new stack. Players can score extra points by running out their hand and claiming a bonus point card. Once one Player has 2 bonus point cards, all 3 bonus point cards are taken, or the end of game card is revealed from the deck, the game is over. Important note: any cards left in your hand at the end of the game are negative points. As for the quality of production, the art work is fantastic, and the cards themselves are decent quality, if a bit stiff. I think the card stiffness is my one real complaint here. I could see the cards getting damaged more readily because of this. All in all, if you are looking for something light, or are looking for a safe gift for the table top gamer in your life, this is a good choice. Definitely recommend.

Super fun, quick, easy game to learn!

Even though we prefer games like Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Everdell, Wingspan, Nidavellir, Grand Austria Hotel, and Cosmic Encounter, everyone needs some games that are lighter and quicker as a warm up or to just play when there are 15-30 minutes available. This game is quite fun and fits that need extremely well. The artwork is beautiful and cracks us up! Our only minor quibble is that chili peppers and pepper are two of the three spices and it took a bit to be sure to say "chili" instead of "pepper" when playing the chili cards! That minor quibble aside, this is a keeper and will be in our rotation for a long time!

Great game!

I bought this as a recommendation and I'm so glad I did! The game is like B.S., but eliminates some of the ways that make the original game lag through the way cards are placed and with special wild cards. The game is super easy to learn and fun to play! Also, the cards are very high quality with a thick plastic finish and metallic details on the back of all of the cards.

Super fun bluffing game!

First off it is absolutely gorgeous and has a hilarious theme of tigers having a spicy eating contest to determine who's the best. Which is just fun. Secondly, the game itself is super enjoyable! It slightly reminds me of the card game BS but better since for people to call you out they have to guess if you're lying about the suit or the number itself. So because of this, it's so much easier to bluff, and it's fun to see your friends get stumped as they KNOW you're lying, but don't know what you put down... And it's fun for the guesser since if you guess correctly, you win the cards which help you win the game. Fun for the whole family!

Funny and Replay-able

The quality of the cards are amazing, and the gameplay itself is soo much fun! Tons of replayability here, and hilarious watching others try to call your bluff as they have to choose between the spice or number. It's a very funny, yet thought provoking game, and in my opinion is a must for the game shelf.

Fun Bluffing Game

This is sort of like Uno with the cards played face down. Should I challenge or not? Will my friends really believe that I have a 10 pepper? Is he lying about suit or number? Great fun.

The smell

I love the card design and game itself, but the cards smell AWFUL. I don't know what kind of manufacturing process they used, but good lord they stink.

Fácil y divertido

Jugué este juego por primera vez con un amigo y me gustó tanto que decidí comprarlo ese mismo día. Lo recomiendo mucho para grupos de amigos o familias.
