Nice portable crib

We got this for when our youngest grandchildren come to visit overnight. The Playard is nicely packaged into a compact bag with a handle, it is a fairly heavy however. Inside you'll find the pad wrapped around the Playard. This is a good way to store the crib, as the pad provides protection. Before we go any further, let me suggest that you read the instructions, even if you've had a similar crib, read the instructions. Allow me to repeat this, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. If you don't, you'll end up frustrated or will break one of the latches that holds the Playard in the assembled position. Assembly is straight forward, if you follow the instructions. Once assembled, the Playard is a very sturdy unit. The pad is fairly thick and provides a comfortable surface for the child. One end of the Playard does have wheels, which makes moving it around, assembled very easy. Disassembly/folding the Playard up is not hard, but it can be frustrating. Once again, I cannot emphasize enough, follow the directions. The latches that lock the tubing in place can be a little difficult to get both sides to unlatch. Once you've done it a couple of times it will become much easier. Overall, this is a very nice value for a quality portable crib.

OK for something Portable

Took a bit to get the hang of opening and closing and the unit could be a little more robust however being lightweight is great when you are carrying it around. That was the prime consideration for the grandkid. Mom's using a regular crib for everyday but this is nice for family picnics etc. at least for now no issues.

Basic functionality

I got this as a gift, I currently have 3 friends due at virtually the same time; 2 boys and a gender neutral/unknown. This would definitely work for any of them, leaning toward the boys. It's a little more of a greenish blue than described. As a non-parent, I set it up and took it down with only minor issues and one consultation of the directions. It was a bit of a workout to fold it back up and it's surprisingly heavy but it's possible that's my lack of experience with these things talking. Everything is silky soft. The bottom is nicely cushioned but not thick. Overall, I think it'll be great for whoever I end up giving it to.

Compact for Storage

This is our second pak n play for when the grandkids come. Love that it folds up very compactly, since it's in storage most of the time. This one is nice looking, simple design, decent storage bag. It's tricky to set up and fold up, but I think if we used it more often it wouldn't be a problem.

Soft and easy to work

I got a little spoilt with my first play pen so I was nervous that it would be difficult to use. For my first 2 kids I had a 4 moms which is the easiest thing ever. Thankfully, this one isn’t bad at all. It was a bit heavier than I expected but it still consist of a nice carrying bag for travel or storage. And as long as you follow directions, it’s super easy to assemble and take down. The color was different than the pictures but still pretty and the padding was super sift and pretty thick which I liked. For the price, I definitely say this one is worth it.

Portable collapsible baby play pen. You won't know how you managed without one.

Once you get one of these, you won't be able to understand how you ever managed to raise a child without one. They are so convenient and easy to use. They collapse into a carrying case so you can take it with you everywhere. They provide your child with a safe and comfortable place to play during times when you can't be right there, and they do it well. You will love it. 5 stars.

Nice basic portable playard

Nice basic portable playard especially for the price. This playard was easy to set up and take down if you follow the steps. There definitely is a learning curve for setting these things up and taking them down unless you are good at following directions. It is designed that way so it doesn't collapse when in use - for the safety of the child. This playard has a handle that needs turning before the bottom will fold up - this is a different feature than other playards I have used. It folds compactly with the pad wrapping around and velcroing to hold everything in place and has a nice carry bag for storage. It has wheels on two of the legs for easy moving when the playard is set up and you want it to move and the wheels have locks on them to keep it from moving when you don't want it to move. Overall a good product.

Love this brand

Everything from Baby Trend has been a hit with me and my baby so far. This play yard is easy to open and close, has wheels on one side for maneuvering and doesn't have wheels on the other side so that baby won't scoot the play yard away. Folds for easy storage. The net makes it easy to keep an eye on baby and for any nightlights to shine through
