Works well, easy to install, and much cheaper than going to a serviceman
At my gastropub, the entire system we use is Perlick. About 4 months ago, the temperature control stopped working on my 3 year old Perlick bottle fridge (one of two). I don't really have a background in refrigeration and electrical, so I called in a service company to look. They made me pay over $100 to come in, and then after about 10 minutes, the serviceman said that the temperature control was out. He then called in and after talking on the phone, said that the piece would be $300, but I wouldn't have to pay for their travel fee (and it would be at least a week wait). Within five minutes of me searching on Amazon, I found the piece needed, and ordered it for 30 some $s. I then immediately called back the service company and told them not to come, because I would put the piece in myself. It came three days later and took me, who has very little DIY experience, 40 minutes at most to put the piece in and get it up and running. Sadly, the same problem occurred with my other bottle fridge about 2 months later, but this time, I knew what the issue was, bought the piece and fixed it myself. If your Perlick fridge suddenly loses refrigeration, but the fans still work, you can be almost sure it is the temperature control that went bad. It is kind of annoying that within 2 months of each other, the same piece went out on both of my Perlick bottle fridges, which I think says something about a longevity issue. But screw the electrician who will gouge you. Save a lot of money and buy one of these on Amazon, and installation is easy even for an amateur like me.

Bought it for a buddy’s bear fridge. Works perfectly easy install and setup.
