Great High Chair for New Parents
The Peg Perego Siesta high chair (orange) has been a hit with our family. Easy to assemble and clean. The chair has multiple reclining and height positions. We liked the modern stylish look and plush seat. We feel at ease that our baby is safe and secure in the chair with easily adjustable harness.

The wheels are not flexible enough
The wheels are difficult to change direction, can only be pushed forward and backward. The chair surface is leather which easy to wear and feel difficult to clean.

On baby 3 and this is the best high chair we have ever had.
Pay the extra $$ and just get it. The reclining, the easiness to wheel it around, the material of the cushion and how easy it is to clean… The reason I decided to finally pull the trigger is I’m not a hand-washer. I don’t like having to wash the tray cover, I want to throw it in the dishwasher. So we need more than 1 so that if one’s in the dishwasher dirty; we have more. No other company makes it easy to purchase extra trays or parts. On the peg Perego site, you can easily order new tray covers, so we have 3. Do this if you are lazy about dishes! When your baby’s done, it comes off the tray fits in the dishwasher like a plate. So easy to clean up :) also, there’s a toy bar you can use for younger babies when the seat is reclined if you look at bed bath and beyond or the peg perego website.

The good and the alluring.
The good things: I agonized over which high chair to purchase for our first child. I remember the babysitting days of struggling with ginormous high chairs that pinched baby's fingers and legs, got gross baby food stains on the cloth seats and took up 10 ft in the kitchen. I determined it would be wood or something else easy to clean. We live in an apartment so a small footprint is essential to me. I didn't want something obnoxiously baby-ish with circus animals or Pooh Bear (sorry, people). I wanted something sleek that would fit with our decor and not stick out like a sore thumb in our small open-concept kitchen-living-dining. Also, the chair needed to be quality, well-made, and solid. Check-check-check. Peg Perego Siesta is all of that good stuff. The minor annoying things: The doggone tray does not stay in place when stored if you have to fold up the high chair. Ours is always falling off the way-too-small tabs on the back legs. It is stupid how irritating that can be. If we did not fold up the high chair to get it out of the way we wouldn't care about this. The "one-handed" tray situation is not really one-handed. I have to really pull hard and brace my foot against the chair so that I'm not pulling it with me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and there's a finesse to it. (yes, I squeeze the lever) The strangely alluring bonus things: It's nice that the chair lays back. When you have to give medicine to a squirmy baby it is very nice to have them buckled in and laying back. The wheels. I really like the wheels. I know there are complaints, but I keep them in "go" position and we have fun during dinner with being able to wheel in closer, or push the chair away. It swivels fine. The foot rest. My kid likes it. The buckles. They are really easy. I got pretty orange pureed carrot on them and was able to remove them and clean them quickly. They look brand new. The "leather"-like seat. So. Easy. To. Clean. And, since we got the black, it looks sleek and spotless after. Raising and lowering the chair. What a crazy feature. I have used it a couple times though. I throw a couple toys on the tray and pull it into the living room, lower it, and baby can sit there while we eat in front of the TV. After all this, is it worth $300? I'm still undecided and I would like to see how it holds up over time. But, if the things that are important to a very-picky first time mom, are important to you, then you'll fork over the change and you won't regret it either.

Almost perfect high chair
First of all, the pros: - This high chair offers many different height positions and recline positions - perfect even if your baby is already 6 months old and sitting unsupported. I found when starting to feed him solids it helped to keep him in a slightly reclined position. Also, as my son becomes more mobile, I like knowing that I can lower the chair closer to the ground if need to better keep an eye on him. - Super easy to clean. Just wipe down with a damp cloth and you're good to go. No fabric that is sure to get ratty and needs to be washed at the end of the night. - Stylish. Looks great in any kitchen/dining area; very sleek and the leather is super soft and comfortable looking. - Mobile. I like the fact that it has wheels and can be moved around the house. Even though we live in an apartment and I didn't think we'd move the chair that much because our apartment is small, I've already wheeled the high chair with my son sitting it in countless times between the kitchen and the dining area. - My son loves it! Will sit comfortable in the chair not only to eat, but also to play. Another great, safe place to put him during the day. - Way better than the Baby Bjorn chair (far too small for my bigger than average son); also seems a lot more safe than the Stokke model we considered. I think a lot of high chairs try too hard to be everything - the Stokke, for instance, converts to a toddler and than a child's and even an adult sized chair. The Peg Perego is simply a great high chair, which is exactly all I care about!!! Cons: - the only negative I have for this high chair is that despite the wheels, it is NOT that easy to move around. This is because the wheels have a safety function so that the baby can't roll around in the chair unattended. However, it is cumbersome to move the chair and because it's great in every other way, I wish this small con were not present. Highly recommend overall; worth the money.

You’ll find better options at lesser price. Horrible product
This product looks good but doesn't justify its high price. Who was the product meant for? It is sturdy and all that is fine but cleaning it is impossible. I am writing this review months after I bought this in July'20. Which infant eats food so cleanly? There are so many crevices, the straps cant be taken out. There are many gaps in the seat where food gets stuck and cleaning it is a headache. The straps look a different color. Nowhere it is mentioned how to remove the seat cover for washing. I felt like giving negative reviews but I don't have the option. I should have listened to the reviews where they complained about cleaning. It is such an expensive product but I don't think we can use it after a year because the crevices are stuck with rotten food. Unhappy with the product

The best high chair, ever
Ok, I rarely leave reviews. This might be my first review on Amazon. After using this high chair for the first day, I feel compelled to leave a review for it, so that it will be easier for other parents to make a decision. My son is 2 month old, so he diesn't need a high chair to eat yet. But he likes to interact with us, eye contact, talking, etc.. When we have dinner, we used to put him on a baby swing, which is too low, and he is not at the same level with us. He will get bored very soon and one of us has to constantly look down and talk to him. This high chair, with the adjustable seat that can be almost flat, is so comfortable for the baby and now he can comfortably sit at the table with us. And we can push him near us wherever we are. The quality of this chair is impeccable, I feel it will last forever. And, it's so intuitive, I don't even need to look at the manual to put it up, and make all the adjustment. It's such an engineer wonder. You will know what I am talking about when you use it. It's so user friendly. Some other reviews said it's hard to clean. I really don't know what they are talking about. The seat can be wiped clean easily, it can't be easier than this. I strongly recommend this high chair.

Best high chair in the market IMO
I looked everywhere and considered many products and bought and returned one chair of a different brand at a similar price. For this chair, I was reluctant because of the fixed post on the chair that is used to prevent the baby from sliding out. In other chairs, this post is placed on the downside of the tray but with Perego it is fixed on the chair itself. Our 6 month baby does not have any issues with this post. Actually, I found it very safe to have it fixed with the chair as we do not use the tray that much. Quality: The chair is of high quality with metal frames almost everywhere. I think it will hold up over time. For that price, it totally worth it. Look in department stores for cheaper chairs and you will realize that $350 for this chair totally worth it. There are many options in $200-$300 range and they are nowhere near the build quality and robustness of this product. The only downside of this chair is being hard to move around on carpets. On hard floors, it is easy to move though.

My wife says it’s the best!
So we had an Ikea one and my daughter was always restless in it. I know it’s very different in $$$ but honestly I feel like for her it’s coach vs. first class now. She literally sits in this chair for half an hour without any objections whatsoever. And for a parent YOU know what half an hour is like in infant minutes!!!!

I like it and I hate it
I hate cleaning this chair. It’s unbelievable how many crevices it has and food gets stuck everywhere and you can’t clean it. I tried even cleaning it in the shower but it’s so heavy! For this much money I’m not loving this chair. A simple plastic one would do. All the features in it - we don’t use.
