Smells nice

This oil control treatment smells nice and mixes well with my regular hair products. I have only used it once so far and it got me one extra day before needing dry shampoo. It’s a light product and doesn’t Affect my blowout I’m assuming it works better with each use so I’ll keep using it for a couple weeks hoping the results get better over time.

It works for the most part

I was super excited to try out an Oribe product, up until now I have not tried anything from them. I know they have a great reputation for putting out really good hair care products, and my hair NEEDS some good hair products! I followed the instructions, apply/rub into the scalp…simple enough. I do deal with pretty oily skin, so I was super happy to see that this has been delaying any oiliness…but unfortunately it seems to make the roots of my hair look a little greasy. I don’t know if I’m maybe applying a little too much, though I was really careful not to…but I will continue to use this and try to figure out how I can prevent that. There doesn’t seem to really be any scent to it, not enough for me to really notice at least.

When you only need to address your roots and scalp

Since receiving this Oribe Scalp Oil Control Treatment Mist I’ve noticed that I can go longer in between washes, which is great for me as I have very oil prone hair and takes so long to style. The mist smells nice and goes on easily. It is not cheap, but does last a while. Give it a try if you have oily hair and want to space your hair washes out further! I recommend blow drying your hair after using it too.

Keeps my hair looking fresher even on the third day.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this because I know it is healthier for my hair to not wash my hair so often. This does help keep my hair looking fresher but in turn it does kind of leave a residue on my hair. The sent is super subtle and reminds me of something I can’t pinpoint. This is to be applied right after washing unlike dry shampoo, It is suggested to use every other wash. I think if you have very oily hair this is a good option so that you can extend your wash day. Pretty bottle and good most action.

Oribe Serene Scalp Oil Control Treatment Mist Exciting to try, having trusted the brand (previously used Oribe hair products). Beautiful packaging, spray applies well. Product feels lightweight, and dries well. It did prolong time between wash by 1.5 days, and I can extend with dry shampoo. 1 minute instruction video is helpful. - Begin with clean damp hair - Mist directly into scalp - Massage into roots - Comb through and style as usual - Use after every wash, and use dry shampoo (powder) between washes Product goes a long way, so cost per use is lower than initial sticker shock. Currently will average using 2 times weekly. So it seems like it’ll be less than $10/ month.

Worked great, couldn’t smell it

This stuff worked so great, but it didn’t smell to me. I couldn’t smell it while it was in my hair or when I sprayed it in my palm to try to smell for a light scent. I usually can only go a few hours without having oil on my hair but this did get me a lot longer. A whole day of no oil. Possibly even more than 24 hours. Some of that I was sleeping. The product works really well and definitely does help us more oily people.

Really pretty bottle

I have very thick, wavy hair that I generally wash every other day. On the second day, I do have some oiliness at my scalp, so I decided to give this product a try. When using this product, I was using my own regular shampoo and conditioner, I do not have the Oribe shampoo from the same line as this mist. When misted on, this spray doesn't have a noticeable scent, which is a nice benefit for people who are bothered by fragrances. It feels refreshing once massaged onto the scalp. When I style my hair after applying this product, my hair doesn't seem to lay as smoothly, so I am not sure if this mist is drying out the hair near the roots? I don't notice a difference in how my hair feels as far as cleanliness or oiliness the first day, but on the second day, when I usually start to notice a greasy feeling, I still do when using this. It doesn't seem to help my particular situation at all. My scalp still ends up feeling the same amount of oiliness, and my hair looks the same as when I don't use it. This may be because of the thickness of my hair, or environmental conditions (hot, humid weather). I'm not sure, but this isn't an effective product for me.

Nice Oil Treatment

I've applied this exactly as what was instructed and even though I don't have other Oribe products this seemed to work well with the shampoo and conditioner I use. I really enjoy how it just evenly sets out in my hair, plus the bottle is cute.
