Know about kickback before you buy this chain.
This is a great chain. It is not an every day chain. It is prone to kickback, but allows you to do a bore cut or a plunge cut that the "safety" chains make nearly impossible to make. This is only needed for technical tree felling that requires the cuts listed above. If you do not know what this is, and have not been trained, go buy one of oregon's other great chains. If you want to buy this chain which is prone to kickback go on youtube and lookup 'kickback chainsaw face'. This chain does not cut firewood any better than any other oregon chain (with these specs) it just has safety links removed that minimize kickback.

Not as described.
The chain I received is a standard low kickback chain, has the double rakers. I will still use it but not as described.

I replaced a crappy low kickback chain that wouldn't cut worth a crap. This is waaay better. Would recommend. Arrived on time.

OEM manufacturer: just triple check size!
Oregon is an OEM manufacturer, and the chains come in different grades. and this is a good one. Chains can stay sharp pretty long, but one ground cut in rocky soil will make a chain useless. DON'T THROW THEM OUT! If you find yourself with more than 2 dull chains, invest a sharpener! Takes longer to figure out the settings than to sharpen the chain, but watch a YouTube video to get the alternate link part down (excuse the terminology, first you sharpen every second link to do the right hand links, then change the settings for the left hand links)

Worked like a dream on my Husqvarna 543XP
Worked like a dream on my Husqvarna 543XP. Allowed me to cut at least 30-40% faster than the stock chain that came with it. Cut down 2 60' yellow birch trees and luckily didn't get into any dirt and stayed sharp the whole time. Now that I'm done I'll have to sharpen it just so it's ready next time but if you want to cut faster get this chain!

I needed to replace the safety chain that came on my new Makita EA5000 saw. Now it cuts like it should and this chain is easy to sharpen or just touch up. Good price too !!

Sharp and durable
Nice chains they cut great out of box and ready to keep sharp. Good value. Better chains out there but much more expensive. Great for firewood logs
