Do NOT waste your money or time on these lights.
Seriously, don't buy these. Read the other review and take warning. I wish I did, as it would have saved me a LOT of time and money. I'll be returning these ASAP. I do a lot of streaming and video content creation, so I needed dynamic and interactive lighting for my video space. I was really hoping these would work out as the price point is so much more reasonable than its big-name brand competitors. This was my fatal error, at the end of the day, as you really only get what you pay for. Here's a breakdown of the best and worst features of these terrible lightbulbs: PROS: - The colored lighting can be very vibrant. - There are pre-set scenes you can choose from so you don't have to manually program a few actions like rapidly switching between colors (I lovingly refer to this as "Party Mode"). - You can schedule the lights to perform certain actions at certain times (EX: you can have them turn on when you want to wake up in the morning, and turn off when you normally go to bed). And that's... really it for the pros. Let's take a look at the cons. CONS: - One light went out after just a day of using it. A second light went out after about a week. I've checked the circuit that these lights run on, and other bulbs work just fine in those same sockets, so I know it's not the wiring. - These are advertised as dimmable (it even says it on the packaging) which they kind of are digitally, but they really aren't physically. Having your physical dimmer switch at max can cause the lights to short out when changed to certain colors or dimmed using the app and not your switch. This causes the lights to disconnect, throwing them into an obnoxious strobelight fit while they do so. With the physical dimmer switch at its minimum, the lights flicker when they're set to max on the app. I've been setting my physical dimmer switch to about 50% to avoid the issues at both ends of the spectrum, but if you have a standard switch to run these on, you may be SOL on one end or the other. - On the topic of dimming, the difference between the light brightness set to 1% VS 100% is minimal. It would really be nice to see a vast change between the two, as the lowest setting is still too bright for watching movies & similar activities. - There is no way to program a one-tap button to change the color of the lights. You can set it to a different mode (white, color, or scene mode), and you can set the temperature of the white light, but you can't set the color when color mode is enabled. This seems a bit goofy. This is basically the #1 functionality I needed from these lights, rendering them useless for my purposes. - Disconnecting/resetting the lights is actually TOO easy. You quickly flip them on, off, on to reset them (either physically or using the app-- both will do it), which makes troubleshooting issues with them absolute hell since they disconnect so easily and you need to wait through a couple minutes of seizure-inducing strobing for them to reconnect. - The lights are an absolute pain to connect to wifi, and the poorly translated instruction manual included with it does not help this step whatsoever. - There's no real tutorial on how to use the app to control the lights, and further info on it is buried in the help/FAQs on the app. I spent HOURS individually programming the lights thinking "there's gotta be a better way" before stumbling across the FAQs and learning so much more about the app than the info available at face value. While this isn't so much an issue for me personally as I am very tech-oriented, I know this would probably hinder a lot of people from controlling the lights properly. - The Smart Life app doesn't actually sync with SmartThings for Android. You'll connect your account, and the one-tap actions you have programmed will show up in place of the actual light bulbs. - Most importantly, I have submitted a couple different help tickets through the app which have been stuck on "To be processed" for over two weeks now. If the manufacturer/app developer was actually able/willing to help with any of these issues, things might have been different. Alas, however, I remain here helpless and unbelievably frustrated with this product. - There are a lot of other gripes I have with this product and the app, but I feel like the main points have been addressed here. If you only need a single bulb set to a static color without changing it whatsoever, then maybe this product will work for you. For my needs (and my expectations of this technology in 2022, seriously), these bulbs do not cut it by a LONG shot. I highly recommend purchasing name-brand products in this situation. Don't waste your time with this one!

Weak connection
I had several of these installed around the house, the ones closest to the router had the hardest time staying connected. Not sure why then randomly they would lose connection for several days the back on. Really weird

Flawless so far
I finally replaced the last vestiges of my Ilumi mistake - I kickstarted them to get smart LED bulbs I could change colors on, but the promised Alexa integration never arrived and they were junk. These are the final ones to replace things in my hallway and the basement stairs. I only buy things that work with the smart life app since I just want one app to deal with now where possible. I have three other apps but won't do that moving forward. So these were seen instantly by the smart life app when I went to add them. Found, joined the network, renamed, and my Amazon Echo instantly was able to control all of them. Set up a group called "hallway" and all is good. Better brightness than I had expected, since these were replacing PAR 30 floods in cans in the ceiling of the hallway. So they aren't as bright as those were but still more than bright enough. No big delay when they get power, and the voice and app control works flawlessly so far. Love them and love the price compared to some of the other things I've bought in the past.

LISTEN, This is how you get them to connect
Most likely you have a 5GW router to connect to your Internet. These bulbs are 2.4GW. These will not connect naturally. The Secret is resetting your router, and just as soon as your Wi-Fi starts to blink, try to search for your bulbs on the app. After you get them connected, link them to Alexa or whatever you want to use. You have to do this for several electronics nowadays.

They work well enough.
Initially, I thought that one bulb was not working because it would not connect. What I discovered is that routers have a limited number of devices that can be connected at once. I logged into my router and removed something I am no longer using. I was able to connect the final bulb once I did that. The bulbs work well enough for my purposes. It the do seem to have limited automation controls. For instance, I can't tell the bulbs to change their RGB values depending on the time of day. Not a function everyone would want but I'm weird. You can tell the bulb to switch to "color mode" which then uses the preset color you chose for that bulb. I have a difficult time getting the color red to take. It like to be pink instead of red. I have to switch back and forth between red on the dial and other colors before red actually shows up. Once I get it there, it stays there. The app used with the bulbs is not intuitive. It takes a lot of playing around to know how to do things. After that, it's ok to navigate.

Excelente producto, llevo un año con ellos y cero problemas, el emparejamiento con la app SmartLife es automático y ni siquiera tienes que hacer nada, la app sola te notifica que se encontró un nievo dispositivo. Muy recomendadas y además, en cuanto a la iluminación, es muy buena, los colores son nítidos cuando se utiliza en algún color y en blanco o luz cálida alcanza muy buena iluminación, me parece que son 9 o 10 lumens, para una habitación de mediana a amplia, es muy adecuado

Encienden a la primera, y la configuración es bastante sencilla, sobre todo en Alexa que fue con lo que yo los configuré.
