So much better than I imagined

The packing of this item was so durable and excellent, it could have been air dropped and survived. Exceptional care as taken in every step of the packaging - I've never seen anything quite like it. Also, included with the Peruvian hand painted, wooden Retablo, was a postcard of Machu Picchu, the area where the artist is from, hand signed on the back of the post card and a mini-folder with a quote from the artist and his beautiful subject, the Virgin Mary. It is somewhat larger than I sensed, which is good, and the colors are vivid, which I did not think they would be...this item was far superior to the image on the website. I imagine no two retablos would be the same, but I also imagine any will be as beautiful as this one. What a fabulous gift this would make for any Catholic occasion!
