Cake turned out perfect!

We used a heavy application of baking spray and the cake slipped right out with all the beautiful details. It used 1.5 boxes of cake mix. The first one came out a little under cooked in the middle, so we increased the cooking time by about 10 minutes.

Love the pan...

Love this pan, but I followed all cleaning instructions before baking and the pan is discolored. I've not even used it once and it looks likes it's had hundreds of cakes baked in it. For the price I'm very disappointed.

Never have I ever gotten food out without crumbling

I can’t for the life of me figure out how the hell to bake a cake in here that can come out in one piece, but I did start using it as a plaster mold and have been able to make some truly gorgeous Yule log decorations at Christmas time.

The cake comes out beautifully with all the details, IF you follow the instructions. My friend has gifted me several of these pans. I have used each recipe that come with the pan. Everyone has come out delicious, and out of the pan perfectly. I love it! There was so much detail in each pan, the first time I got one, I was quite concerned, no worries. Couldn't be more pleased. Thank you.

This pan is heavy duty cast aluminum -- wonderful; buy it now before they figure out a cheaper way to make it... Here are several ways to use this pan throughout the year: A Ghoul Log for Halloween. Autumn/Harvest Log for Thanksgiving A Love Log for Valentines (decorate with flowers: use Conversation Hearts for the flower centers) Leprechaun Log for St Patrick's Cherry Tree Log for Washington's Birthday (with a paper ax...) A May Flowers log Spring Log (with bunnies and jelly bean eggs) for Easter A Fairy Log for a girl A burning campfire log for a Boy or Girl Scout, or a "camping out" themed birthday party. For my Halloween Ghoul Log: I made 3 run-sugar purple bats and put them over the holly leaves: it was a scream! Easy Pan Release makes this a dream to unmold: cream together equal amounts of shortening, flour and canola oil. Make lots: it stores well. Brush on: I use a new 2" pure bristle paintbrush from the hardware store: not a fussy little brush from a kitchen store. Cake recipes that yield 7 cups of batter work perfectly for this pan, for example, this Pumpkin Buttermilk Cake: [...] I bake at 325 instead of 350 to make sure the inside gets well baked. Expensive but worth every penny

I have bought several Nordic ware cake pans and am yet to be disappointed. Yes, they are very expensive by comparison but they do last a lifetime and I always say "you get what you pay for". I used a spray oil rather than trying to get into the nooks and crannies with a brush and it worked great. One thing I would say though, because this cake is quite wide I did find it very difficult to find a board and box to fit. Had to decorate a piece of wood and my husband carried the board on his knee in the car. It arrived safe and sound. Finances permitting I would advise anyone to get this brand of cookware, you'll never be disappointed. The Yule log went down a bomb and impressed everyone as did the others I've purchased

Cake Tin

I love the quality of this brand of tins and the variety of shapes available. Cakes bake evenly, and release easily making even novice baker's cakes look fantastic. Admittedly, not the cheapest brand of cake tin on the market, but it is built to last and not prone to rusting. I have different designs that are over 10 years old and still look brand new. Highly recommended.

Nice and heavy, non-stick, pattern comes through, was very pleased with my Yule log this Christmas
