Edit - nope, not good for cooler weather, either. Much too water absorbing. They got really soggy and it wasn't even very wet where I was working. These would be a nice gift for someone you don't like. I suppose these will be good for pruning in the winter, but the fleece lining makes them way too warm for use during the growing season, and the fingers too thick to feel what, if anything, you are grasping.

Wonderful Gloves for Roses

I love this glove...I own several David Austin and Kordes roses. They have lots of thorns. I was able to protect my fingers and hands to remove parts of the rose that was not good.

Good pruning gloves for the price

For the price, these are pretty good PRUNING gloves. Have I had better? Yes, at twice the price. Save these for when you actually pruning, not when doing other garden/work chores and they should last at least a season or two depending on how often you have to use them.

This is my second pair. I use these for gardening but also for feeding hay to my horses because I have sensitive skin. These gloves are real work horses -- and they're cute!

Roses are red

Roses are red, but not because they have scratched me to pieces while pruning them. These "rose" garden gloves are like wearing a suit of armor. Made pruning safe and enjoyable.
