good wide shoes
these shoes are comfortable though not as light as i thought they would be, but still not as heavy as most steel toe safety shoes. i have high arches which usually makes me buy shoes 1 size bigger than i need but these fit good and were actually bigger than i thought and were a loose fit for me. the reason for the one star deduction is because for the price i paid it should have been a bit lighter like my red wing composites that i used to wear. i work in demolition and i am on my feet all day so i need a lightweight shoe that also protects my toes and is comfortable for 8-12 hours a day. overall the build is very good and look like it will last the year which most of my shoes have not, i go thought at least 2-4 shoes per year its been a few months and the soles have shown very little wear.

I got these shoes for work. They are very comfortable, they have an alloy toe which makes them much lighter than the typical steel toe. The are also SD (static dissipating) rated which help to prevent static shocks due to static build up. This was a very important factor for me. Part of my job consists of removing shrink wrap from pallets for product induction in a refrigerated warehouse. Before I purchased these shoes, just the action of removing the shrink wrap created/build up static electricity and the shocks were very painful, especially from glass products. After I purchased these shoes and used them at work the static wasn't an issue anymore. I like the sporty look, feel and comfort of the shoe. I work 6 days a week 9 hours a day and I got about a year of use out of these shoes. I only gave it four stars because of the limited selection of styles and colors of these shoes. Overall I was pleased with these shoes.

It's light weight

Good safety shoe
After using steel toe boots that weighed 5 lbs each (or more) and felt like 100 lbs each by the end of the day, these shoes with the plastic toe protection were a welcome relief. I don't know if I'd wear plastic tipped shoes if I was a production worker out there 8 hours a day, but for my use (frequent, but not continuous, forays to the production area), they serve their purpose. And, they are manufactured and tested to the ASTM specs. I'd rather have a shoe that wasn't as gaudy though...something simple and plain would be nice. This is why I gave them 4 stars rather then 5.

First steel toe shoe to feel comfortable
This shoe is a perfect fit for my foot. It’s the first steel toe shoe that did’nt hurt my foot in anyway . No blisters!! It is a deep and wide shoe. I will come back again!!

Not a great work shoe.
I use these shoes for my part-time job which involves a lot of walking and light physical work in a warehouse setting. After 2 weeks of use the fabric lining on the heel completely wore off, even past the foam padding and cushioning. That was ridiculous even for my overpronation. I returned them and got a replacement but after a month the heel lining started to wear down again. I had to buy an adhesive cushion insert to prevent any more wear inside the shoe. These shoes were not designed to last, at least for my needs. After two months the shoes look like I have been wearing them all year, so much wear and tear. I will not be buying this brand again.

Great shoes
I do a lot of walking for my job and one of the requirements at many of my customer locations is that I need to wear steel toe shoes. For the past year I kept buying steel toe shoes at Academy and they were always the traditional heavy type, by the end of the day the steel toe shoes would feel so heavy and my feet would be tired. Finally, I googled for some comfortable steel toe shoes and found these...after reading several reviews on Amazon and other sites, I was confident that these would work. I was very happy to find out that they are very very comfortable and my feet are not tired at the end of the day. After wearing them 8 hours for 5 days in a row I am a big fan of these shoes and will not buy any other steel toe shoes ever again. If you do a lot of walking and wearing steel toe shoes is a requirement I highly recommend these, they are comfortable, light and you forget you are wearing steel toe shoes...its like wearing Nikes all day long!

My husband has purchased these shoes 6 times in a row, so they must be somewhat comfortable. His job requires a lot of walking up and down a ramp with heavy boxes. He is on his feet for at least 10 hours a night and has mentioned these shoes are great. They fit his feel as expected. Personally, I love the colors of this particular shoe. I do know this shoe comes in multiple colors and multiple sizes. This is a work shoe with a safety in the toe. These shoes are bulkier than a normal tennis shoe, but these are to work in and they provide proper protection. I would recommend this to any male who would like a safety work shoe vs a boot.
