OK but not great

OK but not great. I like the length compared to others, but these are rather cheaply stamped with a pretty dull finish. They seem just a bit lighter gauge than I'd prefer and I question how durable they will be. As a seafood fork, they seem OK. The design works pretty well for cracking shells using the tine gap like a can opener. They don't nest well in each other, somewhat inconsistently shaped. I suspect they will bend pretty easily. They look cheaply made but the price is higher than much nicer 5 inch competitors. I was hoping to use these much like a granny fork or small carving fork for plating meats. good length and the tine gap should fit most small carving knives, but just not quite what I wanted, although they should work as seafood forks. I may end up repurposing these for some tool usage, hammering and grinding them into some specialized tool shape.

Very good getting out the meat from seafood.

Just used these for a lobster dinner. They worked great. They're good looking, work well, easy to get the meat out with them, wash easily in the dishwasher and didn't stain while in there. They are narrow, so you do have to watch they don't fall through the dishwasher basket. I do wish they were more substantial, but I'm very happy with the purchase.

Still laughing...

I'm still laughing at these $6.99 crab forks I received in the mail today. They are so cheaply made that even I would feel uncomfortable selling them. They are fairly stiff and good enough for lightweight use. The finish is purely lackluster. The bottomside edges on mine have sharp places from when it was stamped into a fork. I can see where the "STAINLESS STEEL CHINA" stamping almost made it through the handle. I intend now to let my finishing machine smooth the edges and polish the forks. As cheap as the metal is I expect they may come out with a satin finish.

Great little seafood forks

These little seafood forks make a huge difference in eating clams. Easy to grab the mussel out of the shell with no mess or almost none. It's a completely different experience having the clams (and other types of seafood) while using the forks. It's much neater and not as sloppy compared to using regular full sizes utensils.

Terrific product

Well thought out ergonomic design..tool fits the hand well. Can dig crab and lobster out of the thinnest legs with the fork end...spin tool around and scoop out the meat from the larger legs with the other end. Two jobs with one tool...brilliant!
