Such an improvement over my old coffee grinder that wouldn't close anymore! Very simple to use, nice looking, and it's so quiet! Not like super quiet but quiet for a coffee grinder. I've been making my own cold brew for years and this is necessary for getting a coarse grind. I love that it's round as well, my old one was square shaped and wasn't as easy to pour out into round containers. I honestly haven't cleaned it yet but it seems simple enough. The grounds don't stick/clog up the inside very much and you can actually fill it past where the metal dish ends. Definitely recommend, especially for the price!

Good Grinder, Nice Looking, Easy To Use, Kind of Hard To Clean
This is a good basic coffee grinder. I'm a coffee fanatic, so I grind my own beans just before brewing a pot or cup of coffee. I just used up my utility grinder, so I replaced it with this one. It works well in general, but I have two minor complaints about it. The configuration is such that when you use it, grounds stick to the lid with an electrostatic charge. This makes it a little bit difficult to clean them out of the lid. With my old grinder I could just sweep them into the filter with a brush. The capacity is also just a little bit small. I normally use 35 grams of beans for a pot of coffee, and that pretty much maxes out this grinder. All that said, it's a good, inexpensive, quiet grinder that does the job and should last a while.

I don't drink coffee
I bought this to finely grind dry and minimally moist ingredients to "hide" them from picky eaters in recipes, and to make seasonings more evenly distributed in certain things (like dips), rather than having large clumps in one bite. Works well and cleans up easily.

Overall this is a good grinder. Mostly what you would want. If I could make one thing differently it would be to make the bowl just a bit bigger. But I like it and would buy it again.

Great Coffee Grinder, cannot really grind enough for 12 cups
This grinder is a great inexpensive was to get fresh ground coffee for your morning coffee. My only complaint is that is not really capable of grinding enough coffee for 12 cups of coffee at one time as it claims. If you put enough coffee in it for 12 cups, it is hard to get the lid on and in one case there were unground beans on top no matter how long I let in run. I had to take the lid off, mix up and contents and grind again. Normally I only make 6 cups per day so it meets my needs. I think it would probably easily grind enough coffee for 8 cups. We only make 12 cups when we have overnight guests. In that case I just grind 2 batches of 6.
