Easy and sturdy.
Perfect fit. I had a similar sized rack that became problematic, so I replaced it with this one. The hardest part was getting rid of the old towel rack. This one went in exactly as the instructions suggested, and appears quite sturdy, because I am rather clumsy, and it has held up so far. It also seems easy to clean so far, and matches the rest of the bathroom nicely.

Strong holder
I got this towel bar to replace an old one. It looks great and the mounts do a good job holding it in place. I’m ordering another one since this one works so well.

Moen usually has great products so I didn’t even think to check the drywall anchors.. after drilling the holes and inserting the anchors (that were the same length as the screws provided) I found that the anchors were in fact not made for this length screw and were only able to secure a screw half the length.. the bottom half of the anchors were solid/sealed so the screw could not fully insert. (Not sure if it was a defective set or merchant error for sizing) Unfortunately I only realized this after the anchor punched through my drywall leaving a big hole. Causing me to have repairs and to find a new spot for my towel bar. Don’t be like me and assume it’s a great product.. double check it. Disappointed in moen.

I gave it a 1 for Softness...because it's a towel bar - it's hard and it should be.
Easy install. Couldn't put it into the studs due to spacing/feng shui issues and had to use the drywall anchors but it's still very secure on the wall. I routinely hang a plastic baby bathtub from it along with a towel or two.

Sturdy and nice looking
We bought this bar for an alternative use. We purchased it as a bar to put hangers on in the laundry room. I wasn't sure it would work since the bar would have to be hung from underneath a cabinet. I am pleased to announce with very little effort, I was able to hang the bar in order to put hangers on the bar. I knew I would have to add a small board under the bottom of the cabinet so the screws wouldn't poke threw, so I predrilled, lined up and started screwing the hardware into place and made sure the covers and bars would be in the appropriate place when screwed in completely to the bottom of the cabinet. Next, I took the board that was preset up and screwed the board and hardware into the cabinet bottom, attached the left cover and tightened securely, I attached the bar and right side cover and tightened the right towel bar cover and checked the security. Super pleased at the stability and strength. It is perfect for our hangers.

Attractive and easily installed, but wall plates deformed under weight.
I love the look, and if you do not have a family with kids that sometimes lean on this getting out of the shower then you should be fine. These will definitely hold up towels, but I was disappointed that extra pressure (we are not talking chin ups or full body weight, but leaning and sometimes aggressive towel pulling which any parent of boys should expect) deformed the hardware to the point that I had to re form it a couple of times and now have to replace it. Not bad quality, but not rambunctious kid quality either.
