Manufacturers need to furnish tools and adaptors when replacing old faucets with new.

Moen and other manufacturers should provide easy-to-use tools to remove old faucets. It took me 3 hours and a lot of hard work to remove the old faucet! Corrosion had built-up on the main threaded piece that held the old faucet in place. Moen did not provide adaptor connections to old supply hoses. I Had to stop installation, run out to the hardware store and purchase two 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch reducing connectors. The new Moen faucet was fairly easy to install except for the annoying trip to the hardware store. Dan M.

Poor design

Overall I like this product. It works and the color is as advertised. But I’m used to better quality with Moen. The weight is properly installed but the pull down doesn’t match flush like my delta did. If you can’t design it so the gap closes at least make the metal inside black

It's really easy to use, and looks very sleek!

I love the way this looks with my other Black Appliances. Especially like the pull down sprayer, and the extra water pressure button. I had a professional plumber install it, so I don't know how easy it would be for a handyman to install. He had it installed in no time at all!

Lots of great features, some complaints

There are a lot of things I really like about this new faucet - the matte black finish shows few water spots so it rarely looks dirty. The style is sleek and modern, but still goes with our 1911 craftsman style house. The "power boost" button is a really nice function to be able to spray at dishes with a harder force when cleaning, I just wish there was a way to disengage this button, without turning off the water entirely. I'm disappointed in the reach of the arm - it's shorter than our previous one and makes filling up our coffee pot next to the sink tougher, but manageable. My only other complaint is the resistance when both pulling the arm from the docked position and releasing it back into the docked position - you have to kind of tug on the arm to get it to fully release and similarly force it back into place to completely "lock". It's not my favorite function and I'm not quite sure why it exists.

Great faucet. Retracting mechanism binds.

While this product is nearly perfect, the only problem I have is them stating that I need to have a clearance zone under the sink for the weighted retractor knowing that nearly all plumbing and construction is going to have obstructions in that area. Then knowing this they sell an additional product to create a clearance area below the sink. Adding this product into the kit would increase cost very little but add alot to the value. Besides this minor flaw the faucet is very good quality, and easily installed with the supplied hardware.

Great faucet!

I had been looking at faucets for over a month. I went to all the local home box stores and didn’t find anything that had the weight/look I needed. So many just felt cheap or that they would fall apart at the first tug. I was worried about buying online since you can’t tell the weight of the nozzle and the overall feel of the product. But it matched the style I wanted and Matte Black was hard to find in something I liked. And since I hadn’t found anything in all the local stores that caught my eye like this one, I went ahead and ordered it. I have now had this installed for several weeks and I am so happy with this purchase. The weight and feel of the product is solid. It functions, feels and looks like it’s much more expensive. The two pressures of water flow have been great to have and it’s a simple push of a button. I’ve loved being able to turn the faucet on with my wrist when I have dirty hands. Added bonus: This faucet has also made bathing my small dog much simpler. Would recommend and buy again.

color and function are wonderful

I was installing a black sink and wanted a matte black faucet to go with it. I love Moen quality and except for one shower, we have all Moen products. This faucet is wonderful. I was concerned that it would show water marks, but it absolutely does not. The boost features work wonderfully and the nozzle retracts without any lag. The one thing that you must be aware of is that it is a high faucet. I didn't take this into account and it is installed in front of our kitchen window. The window tilts down for cleaning, therefore, it hits the faucet and can't tilt all the way down. This would be an issue with any high faucet and is not exclusive to this one but it was something I didn't think about so thought I would mention it.

Love the sprayer

I knew exactly what I wanted in my new faucet but it took me a few tries to get the right one. I am glad I kept trying because I got exactly what I wanted. The tap works perfectly and has nice pressure and a button you can push if you want an extra boost of pressure. The sprayer has a perfect spray - not too skinny and not too wide and good pressure. The sprayer automatically goes off when the water is turned off, which did not happen with my last faucet (that I returned after a couple of weeks). Can't say anything negative about this faucet!

Functions beautifully

Stylish, smooth operation. You can feel the quality. Black matte finish matches decor perfectly! Our second Moen faucet, first lasted over 20 years and still functioned perfectly. Only reason for change was to match decor. If you are going to purchase a new faucet, purchase Moen, quality and customer service cannot be beat!
