My lemon is finally turning yellow!
I read A LOT of reviews before purchasing this grow bulb and approached it with a healthy dose of reality. This is the first year we're overwintering a lemon "tree" (it's tiny), and I was very worried that even though we have west-facing windows that get bright light that it wouldn't get enough sun. For my application I have a pendant light I hung from the ceiling above. After research, I positioned it about 15"-18" above the top foliage and turn the plant regularly since it's next to a window. Lemons can take two years to grow and ripen and I've been waiting and waiting for our single lonely lemon to ripen. With occasional use before Christmas (only had it a couple of weeks and then was out of town for a few) it just started showing signs that it would turn but had made no progress when I got back in town. After two weeks of being consistent about turning it on in the early afternoon when this room starts to shadow and leaving it on until bedtime, the lemon is on its way to turning yellow and very happy.

It works!
To all the bad reviews about how this is not making their plants grow. Well, the trick is having the plant close enough within the range of the light. Usually 12 to 15 inches from the light bulb. According to my light meter, anything above 150 Foot Candles (FC) is considered high light. Therefore, my high light loving plants such as my succulents and cactus will benefit from this. I’m only giving 4 stars based on this FC reading and not the longevity of the grow light bulb. That is yet to be known. Also, the further the plant is from the light source, the lower the FC reading. Anything below 25 FC is consider very low light. You would never put a Fiddle Fig Leaf tree in 25 FC reading. It would suffer. I’m using a timer on this light. It is on for 10 hours a day. My plants especially my Starfish sanseveiria, peperomia parallel, and Fittonia (nerve plant) are all having new growth spurts since a month of this grow light. I’m also misting my plants. Note, this is in my office cubicle, far from any windows.

Great for bioactive enclosures
Got this for my pet snake's bioactive enclosure which has real plants growing in soil substrate. The plants have taken off and grown twice as much in the past month or so than they have in the past year with normal household bulbs. Just make sure not to leave it on 24/7 because reptiles need darkness as well. Also, don't use this as a heating source: because of it's energy efficiency, it doesn't produce much heat. All in all, if you're looking for something for a terrarium/vivarium/bioactive enclosure with real plants: this is the bulb to get.

Excellent Light. I've bought a couple after seeing results.
This is my favorite grow light. It doesn't get hot at all, and it's not blinding. It provides nice lighting as well if you use it in your living space. It saved a tall Dracaena plant in a dark corner of my living room. I placed it above the plant and it has been putting out consistent growth since then. I normally leave it on for about 12 hours per day. Great product and great value as well.

Great for keeping indoor plants healthy
Last year I purchased two plants for my bathroom. Although they were supposed to be "low light" plants after a few weeks they weren't doing great and they were clearly stretching towards the window on the other side of the room. I have red/blue lights for other plants but in the bathroom I wanted a bulb I could just put in the regular bar light fixture. It's maybe 2-3 ft from the plants and it's enough to keep them healthy and growing straight. In the photo you can see how the two big leaves on the bottom stretched towards the window on the right whereas all the new growth is more evenly distributed.

My Fiddle Fig loves the light!
This lightbulb works! I receive absolutely no direct light in my apartment but I really wanted a Fiddle Fig Bush. Fiddle Figs are very finicky and can die easily if there is not enough light. This lightbulb works wonders! It looks like a normal lightbulb and it helps my Fiddle Fig grow. I’m very happy about the new leaf growth at the top which serves as proof that this lightbulb works!

Lasted one year
This bulb lasted one year. I had it on a timer for 11 hours daily. So, a lifetime of around 4000 hours which is lousy for a LED bulb. Plants did okay.

Grow things!
I like the color of light it puts out, which I didn’t expect, so I moved it to my kitchen so I can use my counter as a “nursery” for plants that need a little extra care! It’s helped some begonias and a Venus fly trap and I’m trying it with some cuttings that I’m rooting. It’s great.

Does a good job of supplementing the natural light.
With the arrival of winter my indoor succulent garden was starting to lean towards the window, but with a few hours per day over the span of a couple weeks this bulb has definitely made a difference for them. I can't say whether their growth has been accelerated any but the leaning is almost completely corrected now. Visual confirmation that it does something! It's an instant bright light (no warm-up period) that does the job I needed it to do, without me having to buy any specialty lighting fixtures. My only complaint is that visually it's a fairly harsh white light to have in the house (not very cozy looking), but at least it's functional for me and the plants both! Ended up buying a second one for my living room plants just to help them out.

Great full spectrum lights that glow white but....they dont last very long
They work very well - greta lights for reptiles and plants but - they dont last. I date them when installing. Was hoping they would last for at least a year but none have lasted more than 8 months before they burn out.

may not last very long
when it worked it was ok. I bought this bulb in February of 2019 and used it intermittently. I have started to use it daily for 12 hours a day for the past month. Plant growth was satisfactory. However, when I tried it today, the bulb just flickers. The bulb cost more than $19.00. I would not call that value for money.

Pretty good!
It came in on time and in good shape. It works, however the range of effectiveness is small. Don't expect to light up a whole room full of plants, unless you have MANY bulbs. It's hard to tell if it makes a difference in plant growth (mostly because my plants are near a window anyway and I only leave it on for a few hours at a time) but it doesn't seem to hurt so it's worth a try! Not a bad price for a full spectrum bulb

Thriving plants!
First of I’m not sure why they mention timer function on the review stars area, since it’s a light bulb you screw into your own lamp. But the product works great, my plants enjoy this light and are happily chilling in a darker area of my room.
