“Don’t be hammer handed you dip, you are the problem, not the equipment.” This is what I told my husband after purchasing the third replacement cable. Be gentle, taking out your frustrations on the equipment from getting you arse whipped by a fish will not work.

Great charging cable for I-pilot trolling motor
We forgot the cable for our I-pilot Trolling motor while on vacation. No marine businesses had the cable. Found it on Amazon Prime at a good price and free prime delivery. I bought two so there is always one let on Etheridge boat.

UPDATE: The cable does not fit securely into the remote. The design and choice of connector by MinnKota is a poor one. I cannot recharge the remote in the boat due to the loose connection which, if bumped even slightly, causes the remote to stop charging. The only option I have is to plug it in somewhere it won't be touched, make sure it's charging and leave it. So much for buying an extra one to keep in the boat. :-( Original: This is one of those things I didn't want to buy. The quality is fine. The price is a little high considering this is just a charging cable. I keep one in the boat and one in the house in case I lose or damage the one that came with the trolling motor. This is the *only* cable that will charge the iPilot Link remote and (as far as I know) it is not useful for charging any other device other than the iPilot Link remote. I am left wondering why Johnson Outdoors (Minn Kota) designed their remote to use a proprietary USB cable to recharge the remote instead of a standard USB cable. (money grab) I have a drawer full of USB cables. It would be great if I could use the same cable for my camera, my phone, my GPS, etc. Instead, I'm forced to keep tabs on this one cable that looks like every other cable just for charging the iPilot remote. I put a red piece of tape on it to make locating/identifying it easier. I'd give Minn Kota an "F" or 1-star for doing this to their loyal customers who spent a significant sum to buy the iPilot Link product. [End Rant] This cable, however, is just fine so I'll begrudgingly give it 3 stars.

The right part for my 2013 Terrova I-Pilot Remote's charging
Occasionally a legacy cable is strained or damaged, and won't properly stay seated in my Terrova's remote control. This is the right part to replace those damaged charging cables. It just works.

Worke great!
The price is too high. It is ridiculous that they are charging so much for this cable. Humminbird really let their customers down using a proprietary connector that does not work as well as a regular USB connector.
