Feels cheap

My son really loved these but they feel cheap and the heads are always falling off. He uses them more as decoration than actual play.

Bat doesn’t like to stay on stand.

I got this set for my 5yo son. He was super excited about it for about 10 minutes then he hasn’t cared about it since. He was pretty disappointed that the bat doesn’t stay on the stand the way it should. When he took each item out of the packaging, they all fell apart because the packaging was so tight against them. They were easy to assemble back together and showed him that they can come apart but he was worried they were broken.

Small but super cute

These figures are pretty small but I still love them. I feel like the quality is decent. My daughter loves playing with this set. They have held up well after being played with my a four year old!

cute, detailed, but top-heavy and thin material

This is a cute, detailed set and would make a good gift to a Minecraft fan, but I wish that the quality was better. They are official, and we have others in this style. This new type of mini-figure is made out of thin plastic and the heads are much larger, making them top heavy. The old type were solid and almost rubbery but these can be taken apart and posed. I like that you can move their appendages and add accessories to Steve, but they’re more likely to have pieces go missing. It’s also somewhat difficult to get Steve’s tiny hand hole to hold stuff (I can only do it holding his arm straight down and flipping him upside down. Still recommend it, though.

MINI

When they said the word mini they meant it. These are so super small. The accessories are way tiny, but if you have a Minecraft fan they will love them no matter the size. I wouldn’t consider them to be of any great quality the creepers head is always coming off. They come packed in a gift-able cardboard box.

Seams even more expensive than usual…

My 9 year old son, like most boys his age is obsessed with Minecraft. So when I came across this Minecraft Mob Head Minis Cave Explorers Pack I grabbed it for him. We have purchased many action figure sets from Minecraft in the past, and while they are always pricier than I think they should be, this pack seams to take the cake. Most of the other sets I have purchased at this price point had at least 6 figures and some accessories. So I’m just wondering why this set is so much more… Other than that though my son loves them, so that’s what matters. He currently has them posing on his Minecraft shelf with all of the others he has and plays with them frequently. But I still think they are overpriced…

Great for Minecraft Fans - One Thing You Have to Know First

Our Little Girl loves playing Minecraft on her Switch, in creative mode. But she still knows what Creepers are from when my Wife plays it on Survival Mode. So she was super thrilled to get this set. The pieces are SMALL, so you have to be extra careful where you let your kids play with them. She dropped the sword on the floor (hardwood), and it took me a few minutes to find it in almost plain sight. So just be cautious. Everything about the set is nice. But there's one tiny catch to the design. Our Daughter couldn't figure out how to get the sword into Steve's hand. I think it's natural to assume that the tip of the hilt would slide into the opening at the end of either one of his arms. So she was puzzled at first at why it didn't fit. When I tried it, after a few seconds I realized the little bump on the edge of the hilt (tiny peg) is what goes into the hole in his arm. So I make Steve hold the sword, then hand it back to her. A minute later, she asked me to fix it again. I was curious why it popped out. Then I realized, Steve's arms have to be either straight down, or raised no more than 45 degrees. Because any more than that, and he can't hold a tool (it will pop out of his hand). But once your kid figures out the whole arm position thing, they'll know to just not raise his arm all the way when holding something. The presentation is good, very giftable package. It's SORT OF frustration-free, in that each piece is stuck within a thin plastic shell. So nothing to undo or cut or untie. But getting some pieces popped out of it was surprisingly harder to do than expected. Even for a grown-up. But that's small potatoes, nothing that would mean taking a star off the rating. It's made by Mattel. A name that obviously every parent knows. A name that every parent trusts, as far as safe toys. So while you might certainly find some bootleg Minecraft toys floating around online for less money, they're probably also made with questionable chemicals or even potentially toxic paint. When you buy Mattel, you get piece of mind. Our Daughter loves it. We're going to go ahead and buy the Collector Chest, next. If your kid or even an adult friend loves Minecraft, this is sure to please.

7 year old joy

From my daughters reaction when she opened this, it was a worthwhile item. Seem a bit small for 20 dollars, which is why it's 4 and not 5 stars, but it's already been played with quite a bit and we just got it, so that's a win.
