It works

3 1/2 stars. This thing works. That's it. Since it's made of unreinforced ABS it has quite a bit of flex but works. And since the guide hole for the large holesaw is ABS the saw will invariably wear off a bit of the guide hole ID each time you use it. I found this can be minimized by backing off the drill bit so the saw can go deeper into the guide hole before starting the cut. The chisels for the strikes and latch are only good for square cornered strikes and latches. If you have rounded type you'll need different chisels. This will probably last a homeowner a lifetime though.

Lock Installation Kit

While i would not recommend this to be used professionally , it is perfect for the DIYer that just needs to install a couple of locks in wood doors.Just be sure to read the instructions.It is light weight, easy to use and takes very little space to store. I did not have to install hinges, so I can not speak to that aspect of this kit.It is also perfect for replacing older locks that use a 1 1/2 inch cross bore.

Most definitely worth the price.

I bought this to install an outside gate. It worked great. I needed a small chisel and hammer as well. Great buy for the price.

You get what you pay fr.

I had high hopes for this item it has everything you need to install door, but no clear instructions on how to use. I did eventually find instructions on how to use it. You're supposed to hit it with a hammer, on the first strike with the hammer I broke it.

Plastic is not good quality material.

Plastic is not good quality material. The first time I use it for install the hinges, the plastic bumper crashed and cracked in parts. Do not recommend.

Cheap rubbish. One bit broke and the others weren't even standard sizes.

not what I expected

upon receiving this tool I tried using it to make cut outs for hinge s only to find there was only 1 size and only square corners. For cutting the door knob you have to screw the tool to the edge of the door to keep it secure ,leaving two screw holes in the edge of the door. Would not recommend this jig.

Not bad

I work do door installations professionally, and this product produces good results. The instructions are lacking though, and I would only recommend this to people who are mechanically inclined.

Not worth the time and efort

Easy yes just bad quality. Parts broke asap and others don't work worth a cr..
