Very cute and got lots of compliments

This was a very cute costume I got many compliments. I originally got this for my granddaughter's Second birthday party that was Minnie themed. It was however a lil big on me, I probably could have gone one size smaller. For reference I'm 5'1" and range 170-178 pounds. I wear a 15-16 in most jeans and my bust is a 38d. I put a petticoat under it to give it fluff under the skirt. Only thing I didn't like besides being to big was the polkadots were kinda of scratchy since it was like a glitterish feel.

Too small

I bought this in the size my measurements said were correct, but I was popping out of it the entire time. I ended up changing and being one of the boring people not dressed up for Disney Day.

Cute, belt too small

This review is for the "Red Minnie Classic Adult Costume". I'm a size Medium/ 8-10 (5' 4 1/2", 150#), and the Medium did fit well, OTHER than the belt. The belt was too short and thus quite uncomfortable, so I wouldn't have worn that if I'd ended up wearing the costume, and on me, anyway, I didn't think the costume was nearly as cute without it. If someone was handier than I with a sewing machine I'm sure they could use additional material or something to extend the belt. I ended up returning this and buying what I thought was a more attractive Minnie costume that I found elsewhere, but for those who are worried about the ears for this costume after reading some of the reviews, the minor floppiness would have been a super simple and easy fix with a couple of safety pins, vs the crummy ears that came with the other costume, that I spent a couple of hours dealing with. But that's a story for another review. :) I'd recommend this costume if you either 1-have a very small waist (at least for the Medium) 2-are handy with modifications or 3-don't mind wearing it sans belt. (And don't forget to wear yellow shoes! :)) It sure would be nice to buy a costume someday that didn't need *any* modifications!

I normally wear between sizes 3-4 and the dress fit me pretty well. I would recommend adding some velcro to the back to secure the dress because the little circle pieces the dress comes with don't hold in all the right spots. The velcro holds, but they're so spaced out that the fabric still folds and you can see skin or your bra strap. The sleeves were a bit tight on me, but I think I have somewhat chubbier arms but it was still comfortable enough for me to get through a shift at work and then go out trick-or-treating with my daughter I was able to close the belt around my waste but I couldn't exactly breathe, it was way too small for my comfort. I just found another black, stretchy, fashion belt and fastened the Minnie belt onto it. The ear were definitely too floppy to actually wear and I didn't even bother with the choker. Instead I found another Minnie accessories pack on here that came with ears, gloves, and a clip on tail and it went very well with the dress. Compared to a lot of other women's costumes in store today, I would say the dress is a pretty appropriate length. I'm 5'4 and it didn't come up too short or too long for me. I, of course, still wore some black spanks underneath just in case but they didn't show at all while I was work moving around everywhere. But it still is a decent length for if you wanted to change it up a bit to be more sexier I work in a candy store and during our trick-or-treating event a lot of customers told me I looked so cute and absolutely adorable. Some even had me take pictures with their kids. Overall, it's a great dress and it's what I had mainly paid for, and the belt. I just wish the fit wasn't so small. The ears I would definitely pass on if possible or have some way to prop the ears up so they don't fall foward.

Good costume for the price

Costume came fast. Was super happy about that. I'm just gonna give you pros and cons. Pros: Price was great. 25 bucks is a steal. Costume doesnt feel cheap either. Super bright and glittery. The belt n headband also look nice. The stretch of it is nice. Fits nice on my waist and the belt fit perfect. Usually the belts are always small. Cons: The bust is loose. Everything else fits like a glove but the bust. I'm a 38d so the bust being big is new for me. Might have to get it taken in. The back closures are velcro. Way to much give so it's loose. Might be why the bust is big. The headband ears don't stay they flop around. So I just glued the bow to the ears and now they don't move. Very wrinkled need to steam it. Also didn't come with gloves. I would have forked over 10 more bucks if they incuded gloves. I just bought some separately. I want the bottom fuller but that's just a preference. So I will just buy a tutu for underneath n that will solve it. All in all happy with the purchase n will recommend it.

Not that great

It’s not a stretchy material but that was expected. Make sure to wash it gently by hand with cold water because if you don’t, the polka dots will fall off like the stickers on fabric. Telling from experience. Glitter will get everywhere regardless, so don’t wash with anything else.

Super cute but small and smelly

It was too small to put on. The 4-6 must be i UK because it really a 2-4 but not only that. It musty under the arm. Literally musty under the arms as if someone wore out and got hot. It was so cute though!

The skirt part of this dress is extremely short.

Nice dress. The bodice fits right, but the skirt part is very very short. Not as pictured, much shorter. Perhaps I reived a child size?? Glad I was able to return.

Poor quality

Badly made, rip in the side and half the elastic waist band not sewn in. Not worth the money

It’s so cute.

It’s so cute and pretty. I tried with a black shirt underneath it and it looked so nice like a mini mouse. I used bobby pins for the headband because it won’t stay on the head. So happy with this costume.

Cheap build quality

Sorry to say the build quality is really bad, worst than a cheap eBay one that my wife got long ago. The ears on the head band is don't stay up. It not worth the money you spend on it. Not recommended at all.
