Too little magnification and too much distortion. The text size increases and decreases as you move the lens over the text. Hard on the eyes.

used for outdoor education programs

I have tried a few different hand lens for repeated use in outdoor educational programs. Not only was this the most durable, the lens doesn't scratch up as easily as the others. Also, you can actually focus very well in detail when using the 3x or 6x, whereas others in the same price range showed objects as blurred or cloudy. which was frustrating in the field. I was thankful for the print on the handle as it allows me to find this particular hand lens quickly! lol Overall a great little hand lens for the price.

Did not know it came with Hand to Mind LOGO printed on them

The photo shows a clear magnifying glass with no logo printed on the handle. I would not have ordered them otherwise. Other than that, they are a nice sturdy plastic and having the spot for the 6x magnifier is a good option.

Great for 3 year old birthday party

Wanted some low cost magnifying glasses for a birthday party, but also wanted them to actually work or at least be good enough for toddlers. Based on reviews I purchased these and was not disappointed. The magnifying quality is pretty good and the size is perfect for their tiny hands. And you can't beat the price!

These lenses are perfect if you are a teacher or other administrator who works with kids often, or if you just want a nice set of magnifying glasses. While these are made out of plastic they are very durable and comfortable to hold in the hand making them extremely easy to use.
