Comfy for your Bum Bum - What I Wanted At a Good Price
Overall, would recommend It's a toilet seat! Not quite sure how else to expand on it in terms of functionality... Nonetheless! Suppose I'll comment on the "Unique" pieces as to why I chose this one as opposed to others. Closing: Slow & Nice One of the main things I wanted. Annoying when you're not paying attention and "BAM!" Toilet seat just slams down at Mach Speed, shattering porcelain and scaring every fluffy critter in the nearby vicinity into running and hiding under your bed in fear as they cower over the sound of crackling thunder within the household - which clearly heralds the beginning of an attack by an Angered Olympian God. This one? Nice. Once it was bolted in it just kind of slowly lowers itself - just be wary of the aforementioned fluffy critters who may view it as an opportunity to explore the untold depths of the potty! Cleaning: Diet Dependent Amazon asked me to rate this one. Uh... it's a toilet seat. Could be super easy or a nightmare to clean depending on a variety of factors that I feel I would be better off not detailing within this review. But if you're feeling spicy - feel free to go searching! Installation: Super simple. Had all the items and things needed to install. Hand tightening so didn't even need to worry about any tools (or possibility of a tool cracking your toilet!) Issue: Minor Break on Shipping One of the hinges had snapped/come loose in shipping. But I could still just snap it on top - and they're just the little things that sit on top so you're not staring at a screw behind your seat so the extent that elicited from me was a shrug and an "Oh... Ok, anyways"

Necessary things
How many times in one's life does one need to replace toilet seats? So many choices. I ended up going with this one for the easy-to-remove feature for better cleaning around the attachment points. It is quite simple to install, though I chose NOT to tighten the nylon 'bolts' to the point of 'break off' of the break-away nylon 'nut' ,as directed, so that if some tightening might be needed after installation, I would still be able to do that. I would warn against a heavy person standing on the closed seat for concern it may cave in and break. I say this as with my previous wooden seat, I could do that in order to reach some items high above the toilet.

just what we needed
Bought this to replace an older wood seat with damaged finish. This was very easy to install and seems to stay put very well. Its easy to clean and not likely to be damaged by harsh cleaners. The slow close is very slow and quiet. Very happy but we haven't had it long enough to adderess long term durability - hence the 4 stars on sturdiness.

Thick plastic seat!
I was very surprised to see how thick and sturdy this plastic seat was! The last slow close seat I bought was very thin and basically buckled underneath you. But this toilet seat is solid and sturdy!! It was also very easy to install. And I loved that I could adjust where the seat positioned. I have older toilets, and it’s hard to find toilet seats that sit just right on them. Overall, very pleased. Will be purchasing two more for my other toilets.

Stained
I ordered this toilet seat from Amazon Warehouse due to the better price. The description said "Condition: Used - Like New - No item damage observed during inspection. Minor packaging damage observed during inspection." Well, as you can see by the pics, this is absolutely not true. Upon opening the seat and preparing to install it, I discovered the stains on one of the bolt covers. I tried to clean with some bleach, but the stain is there to stay; it will not come off. Because the seat usually stays up, I chose not to return the seat, but I give this review as a warning when buying from Amazon Warehouse. I've bought from the warehouse before and been pleased with my orders, so this is a real disappointment. Whomever was responsible for inspecting this item DID NOT DO THEIR JOB and lied about the condition of the item!! Other than that, this seat seems nice, sturdy and easy to clean. It looks very good for a plastic seat and hopefully will hold up for a long time.

Best replacement and closest color.
It’s hard to find, even on the bemis website. Got a much better price here. Color is close, but not the same (I’m probably the only one who will notice). Btw, if you have more than one bathroom, make sure you have slow close in both, otherwise someone will forget and you’ll have slamming going on. That’s why the old one cracked. Lol!

Much better than the wood particle version
I’m a fan of this brand, but the particle wood versions have an issue with paint fading due to cleaning. Toilets need frequent cleaning, so I was happy to finally find this particular seat that is easy to clean and doesn’t lose its paint. It’s sturdy, closes quietly, and isn’t falling apart when I clean it.

Very nice seat.
Easy to install. Instructions are helpful for proper tightening. Stays in place as described and soft closing feature is great! Seems well made. Plastic fasteners could be a weak point, but no reason to worry for now. Time will tell on durability - will update if an issue presents itself.

Great improvement, installs very easily
I read a couple of reviews expressing concern with the seat's adjustability. Now that I've installed it, I'm wondering if they're even talking about the same product. If you follow the instructions (which are clear, and only a few steps) you adjust the seat position during the installation process. Once it's in the right spot, you tighten it down - and that's it. Whey are you adjusting your toilet seat after installation? Did someone accidentally install this in their car I'm wondering? The seat itself is really nice quality, slo-close works like a charm. Highly recommended.

Easy installation self close lid
I bought this because it was an off white colour. I was happy with the way it was installed and appreciate the self close feature. It is not as sturdy as a wooden lid, but pretty close.
