Durable and adjustable

I bought this to protect the camper from getting stolen in campgrounds. I'm sure if someone was determined enough they could pick the lock and get it off but it works nonetheless. I used it on a 2 inch ball receiver

I like this lock. It's easy to use an seems very study. Is it defeatable? Probably but it will take a little work to do it.

This thing could not be easier to use. You can tell that it is a decent quality. My only issue is trying to remember to put it back on after every use!

best option for locking a trailer!

I used to have one of those trailer locks that has a hitch-ball and the wire bail that goes over the top. Someone cut through it like butter and tried to steal the trailer (they were scared off by a neighbor). I replaced that lock with this one, because you would have to work WAY harder to cut this off. This seems like the only option out there to prevent that kind of thing. 100% would recommend.

Tight dimensions make for better security...

Not many locks will stop a professional thief. But good locks like this one will stop an otherwise honest person from doing something opportunistically illegal and stupid. And I think it would really slow down even a determined professional who will hopefully move on to an easier target. In other words, if you have a trailer worth keeping, get a lock for the hitch.
