Gteat Pretend Play family!
Almost 4 yr old loves these family figures for pretend play, making up stories. Great for Playhouse. They don't bend. They stand up or lay down.

Grave Skin Tone Error
On the left are two of the figures from the Caucasian set and on the right are two from the diverse abilities set. Both with the same manufacturer. So why do the Caucasian figures look like death? It's pretty morbid. Clearly they are capable of creating a more realistic Caucasian skin tone, but they fail tremendously here. Luckily my kids have enough imagination to see past it.

Great for play therapy
I love these dolls. I have purchased the African American and Caucasian sets. I am looking forward to purchasing the Hispanic and Asian set next. The only downfall of these dolls is they do not bend. My clients love them.

Figures were as expected but had chemical smell
I wouldn't feel comfortable allowing a child or anyone handle them due to the strong chemical smell. I was able to eliminate some of the chemical odor by soaking figures overnight in a solution of water and baking soda then adding white vinegar in the morning. Once the "bubbling" stopped, I washed the figures with Dawn dish soap, thoroughly rinsed them with warm water and let them air dry. The scent still emanates from them, but isn't as strong. I plan to repeat this process until the smell is gone.

it's a doll
toys came in a timely fashion. dolls are solid and good for group use but if you want something that can sit down clearly look elsewhere. variety of races and abilities in collection is awesome for classroom use!

Great job quality
Bought this family for the grandkids doll house. Very sturdy and I’m sure will hold up when their kids are parents!
