Not the color in the photo

I love these little lamps but they definitely have a blue hue to them and I did not see that in the online photos. I will be painting mine instead of returning it as it does seem very sturdy, something I find very lacking in lighting today.

Great Lamp for the $

This lamp is comparable to those you see on popular websites, such as West Elm or Wayfair for a much cheaper price and free shipping. The shade is one giveaway of a cheap lamp. This lamp has a textured white shade that has the look and feel of linen and a grey textured base that has even color. It’s perfect for my home office. I love Visual Comfort lighting but this lamp adds that earthy vibe for less.

Does not look like advertised product

Package received quickly in good protective packaging. However, the item has none of the beautiful texture and earthy colours I had gotten the lamp for. I loved the advertised photos of both warm and cooler colours on the stone. Because I loved it I paid exchange rate to Canada and a hefty shipping fee. As seen in my photo, the lamp I received is a plain, cool grey concrete with none of the detail (besides random divits in the stone). Hoping that with time and wear that it will become what it was advertised to be.

Great lamp! Bad instructions!

Really beautiful lamp that works with modern industrial look or with the Craftsman look, which is my favorite. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instructions are horrendous. In the video above, where the customer is complaining that it is too short and lacks a bracket, there are a couple of problems. A) The shade is on upside down and B) it looks like the screw-on base piece has not been removed and re-positioned. That accounts for the weird shortness. There is no bracket needed. Put together properly, it looks exactly like the photo. It would take so little effort and expense to re-write the instructions to avoid a lot of frustration and returns. This lamp is very heavy and packs a visual punch even with a relatively small footprint. The concrete is awesome. I use it as a desk lamp where I need good lighting and it is fine. It is extremely well-packaged to protect against breakage and you may even need two people just to take it out of the box. I love it!

Love this lamp! However, it is a bit different in color and texture than what the picture shows when buying. It’s still very sturdy, heavy, and beautiful! I did change the bulb to a vintage style bulb because the one they give is very bright.
