Mid at best - “pinkies up”

Hey y’all this is the daughter on the prime account lol. First off the shade on the packaging and promotion pictures are completely different from what you get in the actual component. Pinkies up is extremely light than what I thought it was going to be. My lips are considerably darker than this shade, but I found that it didn’t even lighten them with the stain. And my lips are not even really dark… in my picture it stained my hand almost immediately so I don’t know what’s going on. Not to mention the actual component is smaller than a revlon bullet lipstick with most likely half the product that bullet lip sticks and other glosses and stains have for about the same or less price. When I first tried it, it was streaky and I had to dip in a couple of times and used both sides of the applicator to get an even coat over my lips. Especially because of how small it is, I don’t think it would last me long if I used it everyday. Very disappointing after hearing so many good reviews and hype online. Thankfully I don’t have to go through the trouble of shipping it back as a return. Amazon is just refunding me. I don’t think I will be trying more colors soon unless somehow I know for sure that they work with my skin tone. Even then there are other stains and tints on Amazon that have more product and perform better than elf. I’m a big fan of elf and have been for years…so I don’t know if I just had bad luck this time or what. I’ll have to find my palest friend ever to give it to. So hopefully someone will get some use out of it. I sure won’t.

My new obsession!

I am so picky about lipstick and lipgloss. I was constantly searching for a perfect natural mauve color that complimented my skin tone, and this absolutely nailed it. I love how it’s a stain. It stays in place and never smears. The color stays on consistently for 8+ hours. It is buildable also! I like to put lip balm on top after it dries for a glossy look.

Nice color

I have olive skin tone, this color suits my skin nicely, this lip stain is very light weight and comfortable on the lips but doesn't last much

This is the 1!!

I have bought 5 different lip stain products in the past few months and THIS IS THE 1!!! My lips dont feel dried out, it doesnt wipe off or transfer and the color is true. Most that I have tried are NOTHING like the photos, but this 1 is perfect.

Good but….

At first the tint was amazing and the gloss was great. But after around 10 uses the gloss kind of disappeared and the tint was very light.

Great product!!

Great lipstick but this color is to light for me. Beige n Fiery Red both great colors for me. Stays on long time. Will definitely buy this product again.

Great value

Compared to the tint I bought at ultra, this is just as good for a fraction of the cost. Still comes off but better than most.

Like it, not love it

I got spicy sienna and berry. The glosdy effect stays unless you eat, drink or wipe it off. Pictures in collage show how each colour looks when 1st applied with 2 coats, then if wiped off and at the bottom after an hour. These are transfer proof when wiped, but not long lasting as I expected. Colour can be build up. I compared size with a SHEIN lip stain. The stains didn't dry my lips,but I suggest exfoliating your lips and applying chapstick prior to using.

Long lasting very pretty

I enjoyed the colour, even the next day; it faded well. Shiny after application. Tacky but not too sticky. First photo freshly applied. Next pic after wearing it after eating, about four hours. Final pic, that night. I found that there was still some colour left the next morning after sleeping.

Not long lasting

There’s not enough product in the tube itself. Colour is very pretty but it and is not too strong on my dark coloured lips. However it does not last, I treat it like a lipstick as it goes away after just touching it, so it is not a tint. It’s quite cheap but that’s normal for an elf product. This is not really worth it for the small amount of product in it

Great lip stain!

Wrong colour for me...wanted a mauve tone...this is veryyyy deep burgundy. Stain lasts all day!

Lasted longer than expected, more moisturizing than expected, but a very tiny amount of product - which was expected. Just letting others know.
