Its a good toy

I bought this toy in the size medium for my mini goldendoodle that is no more than 25 lbs. the toy is too big. He does not play with it as much because of its size. Its whatever. Its good quality and can last if your dog is a moderate chewer.

Sturdy and tough!

Awesome toy! Our dog is a chewer and usually shreds every thing and 4 months in and he hasn't even made a mark on it!

Does not last

My dog only had this toy for 2 months and as you could see it did not last. If your dog is a heavy chewer I would be careful before you buy this.

Key toy for puppies/ chewers: great product!

This toy is fantastic- have it for my dogs and just bought it for my sister’s puppy who loves it. Super durable. Great for inside/ outside aka weatherproof. Love the rope part you can grab and then throw. Dogs adore it.

The tire Is durable

I bought this because my dog loves rope toys. I always have to watch her to make sure she isn’t ripping pieces off and eating them. I really thought this one would be durable, but it did not hold up to my dog’s powerful chewing. She literally chewed the knot off one end and ended up fraying up a good majority of rope that was left all within about 15 minutes of me giving her the rope tire. We still have the tire itself though. That seems durable enough. We ended up just tying another type of rope to it and it seems to be holding up so far.

Great for dogs with big, wide jaws!

First, let me say I was thrilled to be able to buy this without a rope attached. Yes, of course a rope can be removed, but that also leaves a potential weak spot for a dog to grip, and start taking small pieces off... So yay for no rope attached! Second, with a rope, a big enthusiastic dog will inevitably use the toy as a weapon. He still throws it around, but he doesn't get nearly the velocity he would with a rope attached. So, I ordered this for my dogs: a 2 yr old Great Dane, and a 5 month old English Mastiff. They love it. They share it, chewing together for at least a few minutes every day. Beyond that, the puppy gnaws on it several times a day, and then passes out and uses it for a pillow. He likes it so much, that my Dane uses it as bait to get him to move when she wants to lay on the bed (or lap) he's using. It's adorable. I expect this thing to last at least 6 months. If it makes it that long, I'll consider it worthy of buying a replacement. Truly durable toys are hard to find.

Rocket finally defeated. Still not tired.

My dog destroys everything. Rocket previously had a tire toy that was similar from the Mart of Wal. He loved it to pieces. Literally. It lasted one day with the rope, two weeks as a whole tire, and about a month as scraps where he would flip part of a used tire in your lap and expect you to perform magic while playing fetch. March 1st, I bought this tire to replace the shreds. The rope lasted two days attached. Typical for Rocket. It is now May 7th, the tire remains intact. I threw away the rope last week because he treated it like a bonus toy, once it was out he still likes to play with it. He loves putting it around his upper or lower jaw and how it rolls when thrown. We will only buy this one from here on out I had never expected to find a toy that could best the Rocket man, but here we are. Fun perks of this toy are treating your dog like a used tire salesperson, telling them you are too tired to play, asking if they will tire of the toy, reminding them not to rubber the wrong way, as well as hitting the road with a spare.

A good toy for a medium sized dog. But may need a stronger center for big dogs?

I purchased two of these toys. One for my 2-year-old shepherd and one for my 4-year-old Chocolate lab mix. After a few weeks, the shepherd had broken through the center section, creating a 2-inch-long check mark crack. And about a week later he did the same thing to my lab mix dogs toy. They are, however, holding up really well since then. Hopefully, they will make another version that is more solid in the center for the big dogs to play with. And by the way, the size of the toy seems to be perfect for either sized dog.

Great for chewers

This is marked of real tire, our aggressive chewer tears things a part in seconds. This has lasted over two weeks. She loves this toy! I just wish tanka made their tires the ones with the yellow inside like a rim, they don’t make them anymore and it’s also durable, this is great for putting small treats inside as well, as it takes a few minutes for her to get them…great investment on aggressive chewers.

Pitbull proof!!

The small one on the left is the largest size (lol) in the Kong brand. My pitbull had it for 1year (since he was 2months old). The large one on the right is the largest size in the Mammoth brand. My pitbull had it for about 1month. Both brands are very well made, but the Mammoth brand definitly offers a better size large breed dogs.

Tough Tire!

This is one tough toy! My dog can't chew it because it is a little too big for her. My mistake. She likes it but there isn't much she can do with it. It is very sturdy, and a little too heavy for her. She is an Aussie Shepard and weighs about 40 lbs. If you have a larger dog, this would be a good tough toy. Just a little too much for my girl.

One of the only toys to withstand a tough chewing dog!

90% of toys that advertise as tough are not really tough and my dog can chew through them in a week max but mostly a day. This tire is the only thing that has shown no sign of wear with intense chew sessions. Highly recommended! For reference my pup can chew through a black kong, this is significantly tougher!

Not pitbull proof

10 min within getting it he already broke through it he's a very aggressive chewer he will chew for hours until he breaks it so this didn't last but it's bigger then his head but he loves it . Too bad it's not durable and should be little cheaper if it's not durable
