Sleep Tite Mattress Cover
I have read everyone else's review and had to write my own. We have purchased 2 of these protectors. One cost us $150 and this one on Amazon was 1/2 that price. At first I noticed it has a slipping feeling, but after a few nights we aren't noticing it. It fits well and I am tending to believe it is very protecting to the mattress. I think after it was washed I noticed it had a cooling effect but not as noticeable as I had hoped. My major complaint is washing it. Our salesman said "wash every time you wash sheets". It's a major pain to dry and the instructions about watching the temperature it gets to are intimidating. It's soft, and I just hope over time it will get softer. We live in Oregon so hanging on a line helped but only if it's a warm day.

A Glad trash bag would work as well and be quieter. Go to Satfa and drop a few more $
It feels/sounds like a garbage bag blowing in the wind. If you need to line a commercial bird cage at a zoo it would be an option

Very pleased so far
When first taking it out of the package I thought about returning it due to the amount of noise it made but I went ahead and washed it and put it on my matress and haven't had a noise issue at all. I love that it doesn't change the feel of my mattress. I decided on this protector because of the "cooling" technology since I have a tempurpedic which can retain heat.... as far as the cooling goes, so far so good. I haven't had any issues waking up hot because of the mattress. I haven't tested the waterproof part of it yet but will update once I have.

This is my second purchase of the Malouf Sleep Tite 5 sided omniphase mattress protector. It does a great job of being waterproof including all 5 sides and at the same time being comfortable without being hot. It washes and dries beautifully if you follow the directions and include sheets or a couple of towels at the same time as recommended. I like the way it fits my full size mattress with the rounded corners and elastic. My first Malouf 5 sided protector still looks like new after 2 years of use.

Worth the Cost
I’m a warm sleeper. Always have been. I’ve noticed a difference. It’s not as much as I like. But with everything else this protector doesn’t. It’s well worth the cost!

Worth EVERY penny.
We just upgraded to a King size bed. We had this same mattress protector with our queen and there was no question that I was going to buy another one for our new king. I have washed the queen protector multiple times and it is still in such great shape. I will never buy another mattress protector. It is soft, easy to put on and seriously protects our mattress. We have small children and spills happen all of the time and nothing ever gets through to our mattress.

Love this mattress cover
We love this cover. Washed as directed and have had no problems at all. We think it stays cool, but let's face it, it's under our sheets so it may be the linen sheets we got to go with it that are keeping us cool. Either way, it hasn't made us warm at all, and we both struggle with sleeping too hot. A great buy.

Probably water right but too noisy.
Noisy! Had this on a Tempurpedic Luxbreeze and it sounded like I was laying on plastic bags. This was paired with bamboo sheets. I’d assume it’s very water proof due to the plastic sound, it has a liner you can’t miss. Understanding that any of these protectors will probably have some noise is fine but this was loud and constant with any movement on the bed. I love Maloufs other products but this one didn’t hold up to their name.

Amazing Value for the Price!
My husband and I were looking to replace our old mattress cover that had torn at the edges and didn't stay put on our bed. The last one was a cheaply made cover and it made an audible noise when moving around in bed. It also was quite hot as it was quilted with a waterproof backing. After looking for one in stores, and finding most of them lacking, I tried Amazon. This one had excellent reviews, and I was intrigued by the fact that it was a five sided cover, elimating the possibility of the sides ripping like the old one. We got the cover in a matter of days, and after washing it as recommended, I put it on the bed. It is a very thin cover which is actually wonderful. The cover should just protect the bed and not alter the comfort level and feeling of the mattress. It was a very snug but good fit as we have a large, king size mattress. We have been sleeping on it for well over a month now and I have noticed I am sleeping better now that the cover stays in place and there is no noise when I reposition at night, Due to the price and the type of materials used, I do believe this is a cover that exceeds its value. Very happy with our choice.

I was considering getting a brand new mattress because the foam mattress I bought two years ago was retaining so much body heat. I'd wake up in the middle of night sweating even when the bedroom was kept cool. This cooling mattress pad has made a world of difference! I can't believe how much it helps to regulate body temperature. This has thankfully saved me from having to buy a new mattress. I would highly recommend this product if you find a foam mattress too hot or even if you just sleep hot.
