Ok shorts but fiddly fastening

These are lightweight/thin quick drying shorts with no internal liner. They have a single back pocket that is closed with velcro. These shorts have a velcro fly and front cord fastening which combine to be the fiddlyest and most irritating way of securing them that Quiksilver could have possibly created. The cord does not go all the way around the waist but is threaded through four eyelets at the top of the fly. This immediately reduces the range of looseness or tightness you can achieve. Also the cord has a habit of getting caught up in and sticking to the velcro in the fly. This makes for a more messing about when going to the toilet for example. This whole arrangement achieves nothing over a full draw cord waist.
